It is really tough to sweep the season series in hockey although the Sens have owned NYR not only this year but for the past few years. So far this year the Sens have won 5-3, 5-2, 3-2. With the Anson Carter addition and all the damn talent the NYR have I am looking for a NYR win. More later.

Go Sens! Give the Rangers that final :nutkick for us Bruins...

Thanks for the words last night - you don't ever have to apologize for a play that doesn't end right. You have held your own with your contributions to the forum for the past couple years. Way more "winnas" than loosers, don't sweat it.

Continued success tonight.

Sorry I am posting info so late, super busy.
Lalime and Dunham are the starters in nets tonight. White, Lechyshyn and Varada are out for the Sens. Smolinski makes his debut on a line with Van Allen and Hossa. White will be back next game and Spezza is playing in his place. Volchenkov returns tonight on D. NYR is running out of games and Sens have not been playing a full 60 minutes lately and if that trend continues which would not surprise me it will bite them in the ass tonight. The only thing the Sens are playing for is first overall whereas the NYR are more desperate, if NYR loses tonight then they only have 10 games left and are 5 pts. out. Hard for a team to sweep a season series and I will take the half goal anyday.

grooven - You are too funny, good one liner. Another thing about tonight that I don't like about the Sens but in NYR favour is that Rob Ray is not dressing, go figure. NYR has some tough guys and we only have Neil and Chara that can drop them tonight. Many of us in the press box the other night stated how Boston was the first team in a while to come into the Corel Centre and not play with that added edge, trying to face wash after the whistle and run people, none of that happened. I truly believe the Sens played bigger that night, Ray being one of the factors. Bruins knew that the Sens had guys to come at them if it happened. Just a thought.

Good luck today, HORNS. I'm probably the only one here even contemplating playing the Sens today, especially with the high juice. Sens are 25-12 on 1 day rest, 15-5 at home on 1 day rest. NYR is 3-7 on 2 day rest. Might end up passing on this game. Hope you kick ass tonite:D

Rangers

nd2002Horns, have read your posts for awhile keep up the great job. Agree with you on he ties. Have played proline for awhile and have hit maybe two ties in a year. Have to wonder about the Rangers goalie vs goalie Ottawa Patrick Lalime much better the New York Mike Dunham. Just wondering if you are still on the Rangers.

Sorry to all who coattailed my NYR play. Lets face it this team has no defence and I misread them. Honestly though, the Sens are one composed and poised team. I underestimated them a little bit. Dumb penalties and constant defensive zone coverage problems for NYR cost them big time tonight.
Congrats to ddubs for taking the Sens, one of the few on them tonight.
Congrats to all who had a great night again, this board is on fire. :toast:

ND2002HORNS, the rangers lost in overtime....they gave themselves a chance to save face.....

nothing to be angry or to apologize about.

atleast you had a good feeling that the rangers would even show up for this game.

again, i'd like to congratulate you for having an amazing ability to read senators games....

man, if there was one of you for EVERY NHL hockey team, we all would have retired by now.
