I took yesterday off after a 1-3 Friday. Lets hope it did some good. Selections for today...

Under 136.5 George Mason/Uconn

The Patriots have held all NCAA tournament competition( Mich st,N.C.and Wichita St) to 65 points or less thus far. Head coach Jim Larranaga said"were gonna have to control the tempo a little bit and basically play our game". Well, they're game is holding 19 of their last 24 opponents to no more than 65 points per contest. On the other side, we have the Huskies who give up just over 66 points per game. We all know how explosive UCconn can be ,but it seems they always adapt to the style of play of their competition. Calhoun can't be pleased with their defense or lack their of during this tournament. With a trip to the Final Four on the line, he will have these guys fired up to play on both sides of the ball.

Florida +2

This is a very tough match-up for Nova. I don't think the Gators get the credit they deserve. They will pound it down low, and kill you from downtown. Florida is 2-0 in Regional Semifinals games, while the Wildcats are just 3-7. I will also make a nice size wager and take the Over 138.5. Too many players who can score and create in this match-up not to.

Mully, who do you like in UConn/GMason? Prob. best not to play, just wondered what your thoughts were.

Its like, I could see UConn finally getting it together and blowing them out. I could also see them playing like garbage yet again, and GMason is a good team. Not sure what to expect. I do like the under though.

Horrible day. Got Florida. Lost UConn, lost Under, lost 2nd half Under b/c of OT.
Lost Under and 2nd half Under in Fla game by 1 point each. All I needed was that FT to push, or Nova to come down and get a layup. Nova missed shot after shot after shot. Almost got it.
I've seen teams just give that last layup so many times and burn me. Florida plays D like the dam game is tied. Can't fault them, but man. Give the layup and take the game. Heartbreaking.

Yeah. I know Mully. A really tough day came within 2 pts (1 pt for a couple pushes) of being a very profitable day. I went pretty strong on the Fla/Nova 2nd half, but made sure I didn't go too strong. I wanted to unload on it.

I saw it developing and when that girl, Noah, went to the line that last time I thought I had at least a push, prob 2 wins. His shot is weird but he had been hitting almost all of them, and there was no pressure whatsoever. Then he only makes one. FLA is up VERY comfortable. You would think they wouldn't give a crap about a quick layup. But they double team the guy and he can't even get it to the rim from 8 feet.

Yeah, I'm still up over 200 but would have been up around 400 with those 2 wins. B/T that and Zags....man.

What do you think of NIT. My roommate says Dave Odom is unbeatable in NIT. LOL. Hmmmm.

Lets get this chit back.....gradually though....

Had the over 65 in the first half, they had 45 with 9 minutes left in the half and pushed?I knew the game was in trouble when the second half line came out a half point BELOW the original game total of 138.Each half ending with a crucial FT miss. How many times do they let that guy take an uncontested lay up at the end to beat you? Brutal loss.'nova and Uconn a combined zero for eight ATS in the tournament.I've been tracking results ATS and totals for over 25 years and thats never happened to even one team before, much less two in the same tournament advance four games and not cover a single one.
