Early on this squad could not figure out how to close teams out in the 4th Quarter, which has been their MO in the past.
They are one of the more fun teams to watch offensively, and quite frankly, Septien scares nobody.
They have done a better job of protecting Rivers ( short routes, fast passing game helps), and have shown a propensity to score i bunches.
A win here will go far to quiet those detractors that say they are same ole Chargers.
I believe San Diego will score here and not confident Broncos can keep up.
Atlanta Falcons.....
Need to win here in this spot, They are home, have one of the most potent offences in the league, Ryan playing well, they have Julio Jones, and a above average running game.
I have criticized this team in the past as being "Gutless", and I think for good reason, because in the past the Falcons have made an art out of choking in a big spot.
They handle Green Bay here and some of that rep goes away....not all of it ....but a head in the right direction.
Packers seem to be having some problems this year, playing somewhat confused at times, and I don't think a 16 point win over the hapless Bears qualifies as a turn around.
Lots of points for sure but Atlanta is just a better team at this point in the season so i'll take the 3.
Note: Atlanta is coming of 2 straight losses. Another here and, they will be in danger once again of flushing their season. I think they do enough to cover here and I would not be surprised if they win by double digits.
