2004 NFL Draft Prospects.....

Here are some things I found interesting about this upcoming NFL draft. Thought I would share it with everyone.

Teams with the Most Draft Prospects

1. Kansas St. 18 players
2. Ohio St. 15 players.
3. Alabama 13 players
4. Arkansas 13 players

Looks like KSU is losing a lot of talented players.

Miami has the most talented draft prospects with 6 players rated 4 stars or higher. 4 of those 6 are rated 5 stars! They also have a total of 11 draft prospects. Makes you wonder how good of a coach is Coker? :shrug:

Isn't he going to play for OU again next season? He's got one more year of eligibilty.

I think White was a senior - but I believe he appealed to get another redshirted year when he was hurt. Probably will tecnincally be a grad student but will have a year to play left at OU.

Will add though if he did come out I bet he wouldn't be ranked all that high by the scouts anyway.

Read in a local paper here that Gallery ran a 4.9 in the 40 during a workout last week, very fast for someone that weighs 320. But they also added that on the bench test he only got 25 reps at 225, which is poor for an NFL lineman. Giants seem so high on him, I think he'll land in NY.

As usual, Louisiana is by far the most fertile ground for NFL players on a per capita basis. I have never heard a reasonable explanation for this.:shrug:

Blackman- while I do totally agree with you that the Giants are high on Gallery, he might not be there at #4. Everything I've read recently has said that Dennis Green is high on Josh McNown so they might not take Big Ben at #3. More than likely this senario will occur meaning they will probably screw up another draft... If this doesn happen I pray that they take Sean Taylor instead of trading down or some other crazy scheme Accorsi comes up with this year.


Cie Grant - if you get a chance can you list the statistics showing a breakdown of different states? I'd be interested to see if the draft prospects always equates to a player being drafted.
