We all know that Canada is favorite....but i will play CZECH REP.And here is my reason why:
Right now CZ(not just hockey fans) all people in this country going through sadness.Our national team coach(IVAN HLINKA 54) died couple days ago in a car accident.
Former player of Vancouver Canucks and 01-02 head coach of Pittsburgh Penguins and winner of 1998 olympic games in NAGANO.
I still have tears in my eyes
.I'am from same city,he was 30 years best friends with my father and was my idol.He was real close friend with lots of NHL players(Jagr,Rucinsky,Reichel,Lang,Slegr).
Those guys and other players will play WORLD CUP for HIM.Whole country incl.cz government pushing our national team to get the cup.
And we all know they'll do the best.
So my winner is : CZECH REP $200 / $1200
