Let's take a deep look inside the numbers in this New Orleans Bowl matchup.

:s2:

OK, let's not. However I do like the underdog here. I cannot name a single player on this team and just found out that they are the Indians. Still, this may be a case of one team wanting to be here. The opponents of North Texas generally wanted to be here in this game.

Arkansas State has a decent offense, especially rushing offense. This keeps them in the game against a subpar for their standards (and hopefully uninspired) So Miss team.

3* Arkansas State +15 (sia)

Best of luck!

GMAC Bowl....

I think Gradkowski goes out a winner. Toledo has been a solid bowl team and they are playing better of late.

5* Toledo -2.5 (oly)

Best of luck!

Las Vegas Bowl.....

4* BYU +7.5 (sia)
1* BYU +250 (sia)

I've seen enough of this Cal QB to know that he can lose it all by himself.

Poinsetta Bowl.....

5* Colorado State +3 (oly)
2* CSU +125 (oly)

This is a game featuring a team that can't stop the run against one that won't stop the pass. Two things. Generally, it seems like the team with the passing edge tends to pull away forcing the running team to throw. Second, a big differential in strength of schedule.

Best of luck!

Motor City Bowl....

5* Memphis -4 (oly)

2.5* Memphis -180 (oly)

I don't think that the Zips can keep up with the Memphis running game.

Best of luck!

Thanks guys. I will certainly try.

Champs Sports Bowl:

5* Colorado +10 (sia)
2* Colorado +370 (sia)

If any team needs a shakeup it is Colorado. New coach and new qb. Colorado has more than enough talent to stay in this game. I have a feeling that we will know very early if their heads are on straight.

Insight Bowl:

5* Rutgers +10 (sia)
3* Rutgers +340 (sia)

Just the opposite of Colorado. Rutgers WILL play as well as they can. I think they have a punchers chance to win outright since ASU won't be stopping anyone either. I also question whether or not ASU really wants to play in this game.

Parlay (3* to win 7.5*)

Colorado +10/Rutgers +10

Parlay (1* to win 42.5*)

Colorado +10
Rutgers +10
Boise State +2
Nebraska +11
Georgia Tech -8.5
Oklahoma +3.5

Best of luck!

MPC Bowl (Bowl GOY)

I have a feeling that this is one of the games that allows Vegas to get their money back. I'm hearing a lot of 'locks' and 'easy' when it comes to BC in this game.

Here's why I like Boise State:

1) A home dog who has a 31 game home winning streak.

2) Emotion. Hawkins appears to be going out a hero and it seems like the players, school and fans understand why he made the move to Colorado. The home winning streak and Hawkins are two reasons why Boise will play with a lot of motivation.

3) That blue turf. It's ugly, especially in HD, but it seems to intimidate teams. BC is VERY good, but do they really want to spend this week in Boise? I don't see their motivation to play in this game.

4) The team appears loose according to the only Idaho newspaper I could find. lol. I'm reading quotes like "we will do whatever it takes to win for the coach and the streak"

5) Everyone is on BC, and yet the line stays below the key number of 3? After being the public team in the last few years, I really believe that Boise is flying under the radar in this game.

5* Boise State +2.5 +100 (sia)
5* BSU +110 (sia)

Parlay (1.5* to win 3.5*)

BSU +2.5/Nebraska +11

I'm going into the hospital for a day or two tomorrow so I will try to post some plays for the next two days if I get a chance. If not, I'll be back for New Year's Eve.

Best of luck!

Clearly a bad GOY pick (unless Tennessee/LSU repeats itself). I still like the Broncos to make it interesting.

5* Boise State -145 2h (oly)

2.5* Boise State -1.5 2h (sia)

Best of luck!
