Loewen is the Orioles future ace and hes got great stuff. Hes a lefty and went 2-1 last year vrs the Yanks posting a 2.63 ERA. Orioles lineup is still very solid and they have some serious hitters. Roberts and Tejada are all-star caliber players. They can hit the best of them, just ask Johan, the best pitcher in baseball, who gave up 7 hits and 4 earned runs to the O's in 6 innings. Like the value here for a team that can win.
LOSS Wagered $160.00 to win $100.00 on DETROIT: J VERLANDER
Verlander is another good pitcher going against a Royals lineup that has looked decent so far. The Royals are starting De La Rosa who's got a hell of an arm with a mid 90's fastball, but the kid is all over the place. His control is a huge problem, which is my guess as to why they took him out of the pen. De La Rosa posts major league numbers of 106 walks, three hit batters and 15 wild pitches in 144 innings in the Majors.
LOSS Wagered $100.00 to win $103.00 on FLORIDA: S MITRE
Mitre was the Marlins #2 starter a year ago until a back problem sidelined him for most of the season. He has the potential to be a very good pitcher. I think there will be a good amount of runs in this game, so the over at 9 I believe, would probably be a good play. Marlins lost a heart breaker to the Nats after Julio lost them the game. I think their hot bats can stay hot vrs the 44 year old Moyer as he really doesn't have great stuff but can hit his spots and has a good change.
