True (and also an excellent republican president if he wouldn't surround himself with people similar to this admin, and I have faith that he wouldn't)......and true.

Well, yes, I am critical of that. And also of spending ridiculous resources and stretching us thin in a country that was no threat and had nothing to do with 9/11. Still not sure how that applies to that article.

For the record, I don't buy into the whole thing that Bin Laden was in Tora Bora and we let him off the hook. I think our guys did their best under the circumstances. What's a shame is that our focus, resources, expendable divisions went to Iraq.

I said from the beginning that finding Bin Laden could very well prove almost impossible. I don't hold it against this admin that they haven't been able to find this one man and I never have.

I *do* have huge questions about why the focus went from terrorist organizations to Saddam for no apparent reason.

I still remember him telling Bush before his UN speech on the war ..."I'm not going to go in front of the world and read this bullshit". Course he was talked into being a team player and all....... and u see what we got.
