If I actually were to bet money on this, I would go with Rice.

That sounds about right. She would be following the 'W' model. Screw up every job you've had and end up as President.

Then again, the redneck and evengelical contingent of the country that swung the 2004 election would have a serious 'moral' dilemma. They would have to decide which they are less bigoted about: Blacks/Women/Gays.

Rice has no chance, no way the GOP would trot out a black female and risk losing their stranglehold on the Southern part of the US. Im not saying that everyone in the South is a racist, but IMO they are less likely to support a black female than other parts of the country. If Clinton runs then maybe Rice would be a viable option, but I would be surprised if she gets nominated. I would tend to believe that the GOP will not stray too far from the path that has led them to success and will put forth someone such as Guinn, Pataki, Perry, J. Bush, or possibly Colin Powell. I also think the Dems have been taught a lesson and will nominate a middle of the road guy such as Richardson, Vilsack, Warner, and I would be willing to wager that they will nominate either Boxer, or Napolitano as the V.P. choice. At one point I thought Frist would be the likely GOP chosen one, but I sort of doubt that now, as he is going to be a lightning rod in the next few years, and I believe that there is going to be some fallout with Delay that will hit quite a few bigwigs on both sides of aisle. One thing I was sort of shocked by was the Dems choice of Dean as their leader, as this guy IMO is a wacky dude in the same league as Newt Gingrich.

I predict the 2008 election will go down in history
as a turning point in American politics. I predict a
third party emerging and taking hold due to the
illegal Mexican plague suffocating every square
inch of the United States at this time. Neither
the Republicans nor the Democrats give a rats
ass about what the American people who elect
them want. I have already switched from Rep.
to Independent. I predict millions more from both
party's will do the same. My next vote will hinge
on only one subject. Illegal Mexicans rapeing our
country. Every state in the Union will go belly up
if this continues. My answer is:
a) close down the border
b) PUNISH any and every business who does not
call social security to verify the validity of a social
security card. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW THE
IRS CAN STAND BY WITH DEAF EARS AND BLIND
EYES AND ACCEPT TAXES FROM ILLEGALS KNOW
ING FULL WELL THAT THEIR SS# IS BOGUS....
BUSINESS ENTITIES ARE GETTING BY WITH
PLEADING IGNORANCE, "HOW DID I KNOW IT
WAS FAKE"...BUT THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THE
IRS....THEY KNOW THESE FAKE SS# ARE BOGUS
BUT ARE TOLD BY HIGHER UPS TO IGNORE IT...
THIS PROBLEM COULD BE SOLVED SO EASY IT'S

In one sense I agree. Then again unless you are a Native American it is a tad convenient to now decide the border should be closed. In one sense I wish it were - but it also would go against everything this country stands for.

ive spent many a night introducing many a citizen to the country at a county hospital

up all night with one right after another getting free health care right out of our own paychecks

see our parents struggling to pay their own health care bills and mexicans get free access to it and no questions are asked

its absolute BS

busiest OB county hospital in the country we would have up to 30 deliveries in a night...worked there 2 months and ran into less than a handful of moms that could speak a lick of English

have there kids...US citizen, no questions asked...free of charge thanks to GWB and his corrupt ties with the Mexican Mafia

its all a bunch of BS

nothing will ever get done about it

last candidate that tried was Pat Buchanan and he was immediately derailed by the liberal media
