Canada -1.5 over Sweden (regulation...obviously)
-101 1.01/1

Playing -1.5 kind of blows, but only just a little.
Look at the rosters of these teams and Canada has a huge edge in talent.
Canada had 4 laughers in the tourney while the Swedes had 2.
Canada swept through while Sweden dropped a pair of games.
Doesn't hurt that the game will be played in Quebec.
I haven't touched this tournament, yet, but this one looks good.

I like Russia in the other match but probably won't touch it--too many baseball temptations to take my tokens.

geez...2-0 Philly...glad I didn't touch this one (woulda been Pens or nothing).
Hopefully both series end in 5. That would be special.

enjoy

final

final

Yessss...I'm chasing my money in this final.
Ward in net instead of that stiff LeClaire (or however you spell it).

This should be an intense game.
Russia looks good this year.
Still, can't pass...home crowd better contribute, unlike last game.
No excuse for them not bagging the spread--last half of the 3rd the sleptwalked.
Won't have that priviledge today, methinks.
Today, a win is a win is a win.

Kind of blows, but only just a bit.
Had my boys in regulation so I'll suck back the push.

Happy for the Ruskies.
They've suffered a lot of adversity over the past 15 years--longer, really--and it's their first Gold in this tourney since '93.
Judging by the emotion they showed after the winning goal, I'd say this meant a lot to them.
Congrats...

...we'll get ya next time, though.

2010 Olympics should be hot.
