Everyone on ESPN and on the blogs/boards wonders if $C is going to be motivated and is very impressed with BC's bowl record. I can't recall a time when an $C team was flat for a non-conference game under Carroll and even in a down year had impressive wins @ Ohio State, Notre Dame, Cal and Arizona State.

BC used to be a covering maching in bowl games, but are 0-3 ATS since O'Brien left (and covered with NCSt last year)and travels all the way across the country for this bowl game. Tall order for a team that's been horrible on the road this year.
