My Charger can compete in a half mile race and it cost me one third of what that overpriced Vette does.

Judge - I'll agree the Charger is a nice car for the money (I've rented them many times), but for my money, there is not a better value out there IMHO than the American Icon Corvette.

Personally, I could never consider a car with 4 doors as being a sportscar. Maybe a sports sedan?

The ZR1 will feature a supercharged version of the new 6.2L V8 in the 2008 Corvette and it will put out somewhere between 600-700 horsepower. According to sources the car will reach 0-60 in the 3 second range and will cost around $100,000. The car is also lighter than the current Z06.

........................................................

I have had cars that would go 0-60 in 6 seconds and that is screaming.

The problem with a car like the ZR1 is that while you stomping it the car can easily oversteer and then next thing you know you end up against a tree dead.

just sayin.

I really wouldnt trust myself with that car.
