2010 SEC Preview

These are very early predictions but from what I've read so far this is what I am leaning in the SEC... I really like Auburn to win the West this year with all 5 returning starters on the OL and the addition of Cam Newton at QB... hope the money is worth it :mj07: ... Bama will be a contender... the question with them is the inexperience on D... but I think the Iron Bowl decides the West... Don't turn your back on the Hogs!!! They could easily sneak in and take the West.

Should be an interesting year in the conference Corley. Bama & Florida should rule but you just never know. The hogs might be a good sleeper?

Hogs passing game will be the best in the country IMHO... Their D will be the key though... If they get better then they give Bama a run... I think Auburn will be better than people expect this year. Your Cats will be a good offensive team this year... How's the D shaping up?

The defensive line (and LBs) are gonna be small . DBs are the strength but what good does that do if your giving up an average of 4 yds a carry and that's what I'm afraid of. The "O" could be better since most of the skill guys return, but they do have to replace 4 5th year senior offensive lineman and don't think that will be easy to do...hope I'm wrong. I'd like to see Joker get off to a good start but that might prove difficult. I think the coaching staff is one of the best out there, but u still have got to have bodies.

Think your Dogs will keep getting better although it will be hard to replace a guy like Dixon. Damn, I'm glad he's gone...

Haha yeah he ran wild on your Cats last year :SIB but we have 4 very solid backs that will be in the mix this year. The one to keep your eye on IMO is Montrell Conner... Dixon said Conner will break all of his records IF he stays 4 years... but all of the magazines will tell you Vick Ballard is the one to watch... they are all good though and will see the field quite a bit.

What I don't understand is all the hype on Georgia... Sure they have 8 starters on offense coming back but they have no proven QB yet and they only have 4 returning starters on what was already a weak D last year. Im not saying Georgia will be bad this year, I just think S. Car finishes ahead of them. Georgia goes to Columbia this year.

Your probably right Corley but you can never underestimate 'a' Georgia. But haven't really done a lot of research other than on Ky. I will keep an eye on those State backs. Just remember, it's our time to win...:toast: Oh, I had almost forgot about those 2 bad beats in basketball... ...too bad I'm a football fan first.
