For an early morning with my dad to vote. Despite all the annoying political jargon that has gone on the past year, we still live in a great country where we are able to cast our vote. I'm sure there will be plenty of people crying "fix" again today, but these are probably the same people who are not very good at gambling, and are always on the wrong side of the *fix*...

Anyway, this is not a political thread (I know we only get ONE today in general). This is just a thread to say that we live in an awesome place where we can go vote without being threatened, and we should all exercise our freedom to be a part of our country today!

:toast:

of course not...who would think such a thing?....

this is such a bad idea...

btw...prayers and good thoughts to wineguy...hope everything goes well for the better half...

Sunny, glorious morning in western Pennsylvania !

Whistled a happy tune while making the short walk to the voting center at the Senior Center.

Got checked in and voted for all honest men!

Gonna' be a great day!

I vote in the gymnasium at my kids' school. The place was a madhouse, so I rolled out. Will try again later

This is what I hope happens..........."The Boys Prophecy"

When you have a President that has fucked everything up vote for the other guy even if you don't like him. If you feel the current President will give you more of the same old same old shit, vote for the other guy. Always vote for the other guy no matter how much you dislike him just to see if he can not fuck things up as much as the current guy...............The End

I voted for Mitt.

Also, Scott Brown. This is a big race up here in MA. Opponent Elizabeth Warren had 60% of her campaign finances come from out of state. You can know for damn sure the Dems want to keep the Senate.

I am amazed at how many people go on election day to vote and waste their time standing in line. No this isn't an idiotic yyz-rant that it is a waste of time. I haven't voted at an actual polling place for a general election since the first time I was able to vote. Any other time it has been an absentee ballot. I just don't know why more people don't do this, or utilize the early voting that is out there.
