He's hilarious. I will read his first book if that one is better. I was just looking for a funny book to read - have been reading some heavy stuff (Elephant Whisperer and Babylon's Ark). Amazing books and must reads in my opinion. Animals are truly amazing. People, well...

Was looking to read another David Sedaris book, but I will check out Carolla.

In Fifty Years We'll All Be Chicks is excellent. Glad to hear you are a fan. He's a really sharp guy and I appreciate his wit.

Read all A Song of Ice and Fire books. Read two of Lawrence Anthony's books (Elephant Whisperer and Babylon's Ark). Awesome books and great reminders of the importance of animals in the world.

Finally read Tim Donaghy's book - thought it was really good. Up to 46 books this year - probably not going to make my goal of 60, but quality over quantity. Totally forgot about the Carolla book - that will be up soon. Reading "Round House" right now, highly recommend it - great mystery.

Didn't quite reach my goal of 60 books this year... got to 54, but took a month off because of extenuating circumstances, so will get there next year! Here is my list. The 5 stars are "must reads" in my opinion. Book of the year by a long shot, best one I have read in years and years: SHANTARAM. I am eagerly awaiting the next release from this author.

Happy reading in 2013!! Would love to have people get more active in these threads.

I read around 50-60 books this year. The Jobs book by Isaacson was definitely one of the best, if you like biographies. Another recent biography I read that was excellent was called Why I left Goldman Sachs by Greg Smith.

A few others I liked were:

The Power of Habit
Ghost in the Wires
A History of the World in six glasses
The Art of Racing in the Rain
Abolutions
Growing a Business
Stuff
All Marketers are Liars
Purple Cow
Meatball Sundae
Poke the Box
The Dip
Calico Joe
The Big Moo
Field of Dead Horses
Abundance: The future is better than you think
On Negotiating
The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur
Multipliers
Fascinate
Founders at Work
What got you here won't get you there
The Intelligent Entrepreneur
The Lean Startup
Agent to the Stars
What Would Google Do?
Rework
iWoz
The Go-Giver
Go-Givers Sell More
Crush it! Why now is the time to cash in on your passion!
The Thank You Economy
Just Listen
Tribes: We need you to lead us
Outliers
The Tipping Point
Blink
Greedy Bastards
The Ultimate Sales Machine
The Partnership Charter
Platform
The Innocent
The Racketeer
The Winner

I don't think it's worth it listing the sub par ones or books I didn't like. It's my goal to read just as many or more books next year. I will definitely achieve it.

Came back and edited list adding some audiobooks I listened to as well I would recommend.
