N C State, new coach, a few transfers coming in, one from 2012 that had to sit out (QB) also some good RBs - new offensive minded coach, should get to 9 wins easy in 2013.

Nebraska to be much improved, Martinez' last year, he's got a QB guru coach working on his arm slot, he tends to get under his throws, causing over throws and inaccuracy, not many can run like him other than Johnny Heisman.

SMU in 2013 could be a sleeper to finish in top 20, all depends which RBs step it up this spring for June Jones. They also had a pretty decent recruiting class which hardly ever gets any press.

Nebraska's D is going to be another major issue this year, still no top level talent to work Pelini's schemes. The Husker offense will put up points as usual, but expect a lot of shoot out type games. Also on offense they don't utilize Martinez's foot speed enough. They try to have him past more than is needed.

I like Tennessee a lot this year. They lose Bray Hunter, and Patterson, but they return the majority of their O-Line, all RB's, and 9 starters on D. Add in a new coach with a new attitude. Their home conference schedule includes UGA, SCar, Aub, and Vandy. If they can get to their 2nd bye week and be at least 5-5, they will be bowling.

If the Total RegSeason Wins for Bama is 11 or less, I'm taking it.

VT hasn't been good in a couple years and Saban destroys OOC opponents in season openers.

Bye week to prepare for Manziel.

Bye week before the LSU game.

Bye week to get ready for Malzahn's O - cause him trouble in 09 but still think we lose by 7-17ish points

See bama as 11-1 at worst case. Texas A&M will be the only game they are a Touchdown or Less favorite

A few I will have my eye on (under the radar):

Central Florida goes to the Big East and has a chance to be sucessful. They beat Missouri last year, won their bowl game impressively and have alot of Florida players on the team..that is still a positive. Bortles (QB) was great in the bowl game. They could be 3-0 (Akron, FIU, Penn State) and then get S Carolina at home after a bye...that will be a pre season play for me if the man makes them a dog.

Northwestern...there will be a few teams in the Big Ten that win more than a few games...after all, they have to play each other but, I think NW is the only team that will be undervalued. Coming off their first bowl win with a dynamic offense, they will take advantage of predicted down years from Iowa, Wisky and Illinois. They have to get out of their first two (Cal and Syracuse) healthy as, like usual, they are not deep.

LA Lafayette...won't sneak up on anyone this year...like CFla, seem to get the players left over when they run out of scholarships at Florida, FSU and LSU only these "left overs" have motivation to work hard and stay out of trouble...good program and they are stepping up as they open at Ark and at Kansas State.

Rice...he won't win the Heisman but, Dirphus Jackson will be the Jonny Manziel of 2013. The guy is great after hardly getting to play last year, showed what he could do in the bowl game. I have to see what he has around him but, put him on your player to watch list. By the way...their first game...versus A&M.

SMU would be on this list too if they had not been previously mentioned. I'll throw in a heads-up on Arizona State too as I believe they have a chance in the changing landscape of the Pac10 plus they have a good schedule including a game at Texas Stadium versus Notre Dame.

don't know if he ever will. He has such alrge $$ contract do't know if htey an afford it--the lawyers and dr graduating from Iowa need to step up an buy him out-he has lost his edge. Listened to an interview with Davis the OC--he is terrible. Looks like a red shirt Fresh going to be a starting at QB-either from Fla or Ala. Recuriting class was not good.
