CLEEEEAR!!

Sorry so late. Went to work for 2 hours, and turned into 5.

Qutback Bowl

Like Auburn but do not like laying 7, so pass on that game

Cotton Bowl

Michigan St + 3 (-125) Win :0corn
You could say Baylor is in a similar frame of mind as TCU was, but they weren't in the top 4. I like the physical nature of the Spartans to take control here.

Citrus Bowl

Minnesota +4.5 L

Missouri has a real good defensive line, but I think the Gophers can wear them down on the ground. Also, the Gopher secondary is outstanding with a nose for the ball. Think this is a close game and I will take the points

Rose Bowl (semi-Final #1)

Oregon -7 (-125) Strong Play WIN

I am going to repeat some of the same things that I said when Florida St played Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship game. When Florida St has loses both the time of possession battle and the rushing battle in the same game, they are now 1-5 ATS this year. THAT is the formula to beat the Seminoles. Georgia Tech did just that and covered (barely) but it took arguably the best game of Jameis Winston's career for Florida St to win. The time off will not help Winston's rhythm.

Also, Oregon does not turn the ball over. They average 0.6 turnovers a game compared to Florida St's 2.1 per game.

When getting 2 or more weeks rest, Fla St is 2-2 ATS. Oregon is 4-0 ATS

Trust me, it is difficult going against a team with a 29 game winning streak, but teams learn from defeats. Look at how the Ducks season took off after the Arizona loss in week 5. The ducks will run wild on the Seminole defense. They will win the time of possession, even with their hurry up offense. The Nols will get their points, but they will not keep up. The bubble will finally burst today for the Seminoles.

Oregon by DD.

Sugar Bowl (playoff #2)

Ohio St +8 WIN

Talk about a motivated team. Ohio St was in the #6 spot heading into Championship week facing a quality Wisconsin team. Their only shot to make the playoffs was to win and win impressively against a Wisconsin team that looked like a run away freight train coming into the game. They completely shut down the best rusher in the nation and annihilated the Badgers. Do not think that the Badgers are just happy to be here. They truly believe that they are the best team in the nation, right now.

The Tide are a perennial juggernaut. This year's team has shown some vulnerability. Auburn put up 630 yards and 44 points on the Tide.

Alabama is 5-1 vs top 25 teams, winning only 2 of those 6 by more than 11 points
Ohio St is 3-0 winning by 12,7 and 59.

The Tide are 3-7 last 10 ATS when a fave between 3 and 10 points
The Buckeyes are 2-0 ATS and SU when a dog between 3 and 10 points

I see 2 very evenly matched teams but I see the momentum with the Buckeyes. All the pressure is on the Tide. By the way, this freshman QB, Cardale Jones, for the Buckeyes is the real deal. He has had a month to prepare for this game and should prove to be more than adequate for the job. (22/34, 375 yards passing with 5 TDs and ZERO turnovers this year). I see him being a superstar the next 2 or 3 years for coach Meyers.

Mr. Rattler ... YOU ARE THE MAN!!!

Wish I'd been tailing you the entire bowl season. I suck in bowl games almost every year and this year hasn't been much different.

Congrats and Good Luck!

Alamo Bowl

Kansas St -1 Loss

The Bruins are 3-1 against top 25 teams. The Wildcats are 1-3.

Kansas St is 26-1 when leading at the half. The Bruins are fast starting team.
Kansas St is the better coached team, less penalties, less turnovers. Both teams do very well with 2 or more weeks to get ready.

I am going with the Cats here. They do not have quite the talent that UCLA does but I Like their consistency. Kansas St seems to play well in tight games. When the opening line is between -3 and +3, The Wildcats are 3-0 ATS and SU and 25-11 ATS last 20 years. The Bruins are 0-1 and 4-6 the last 3 years when the line is between +3 and -3. That is a sign of a good organization that prepares well for tight games. The Cats are 8-1 ATS and SU with 2+ weeks between games.

UCLA seems to live and die with the big play. If they can make a few, they can win this game, but I will go with the better coached, more consistent program here.

Not a play to "send in the farm" on, but definitely merits a play

Cactus Bowl

Washington -7 STRONG PLAY Loss

Lets pretend that Sat Dec 6th, 2014 never existed. That date went into a temporal vortex and disappeared. The Oklahoma St Cowboys would be coming into this game on a 5 game losing streak where they were out scored 201 to 68 (avg 40-17). Their last win on Oct 11th was a 7 point win against the mighty Kansas Jayhawks (3-9) in which the Cowboys needed a 99 yrd kickoff return to break a 4th Qtr 20-20 tie.

Oklahoma St would be 5-6. Their 5 wins, all against teams that had no more than 4 wins on the year. Those 5 teams that were beaten by Ok St, finished with a combined 17-43 record.

The Cowboys are here, in this Bowl game, because the collective mind of Oklahoma had a stroke somewhere around QTR #4 on their last game of the season. This time, the Cowboys used a 92 yard punt return to tie the game late in the 4th against the 21 point favored Oklahoma. The Sooners were stunned and could not recover, losing in overtime. They literally look like they had a stroke. That mind set carried over to their Bowl game where they were beat senseless by Clemson.

Make no mistake. Oklahoma st is a BAD team. Don't try to over think it.

The Washington Huskies went 8-5. All 5 of their losses were against Top 20 teams, losing by an average of only 12 points. The Huskies fought in every game. In their other 8 games against not top 20 teams, the Huskies went 8-0, winning by an average of 19.5 points. Only 1 team stayed within a touchdown of the Huskies and that was Hawaii in week 1 in the Rainbow state.

This game should be a beat-down. The ONLY wild card here is if Washington takes this game too lightly. However, they played hard and never lied down for 13 games this year. They even played Oregon tough. I do not see them playing anything but hard nosed football today, in which case this will be a comfortable double digit win
