Way too far out to think Vikings will cover this one, on paper perhaps, but the draft, personnel cuts, new systems in place for 49ers with new coordinators, we don't even know yet.
I like your spunk BP, and I'd lean with Minny in this one too with all the off-season transactions for the Niners, but right now would be way too premature to even think about this game.
First Monday Night opener for Minnesota since a long time ago as well, following Philly & Atlanta.

Exactly the Niners do not know what system they have in place. The Vikings draft will have very little effect on them in the opener, their system is in place with the entire coaching staff coming back in second year. Their starting team is pretty much set except for the running back situation. There could be some injuries and the big two will be OLB Anthony Barr, DT Sharrif Floyd, CB Xavier Rhodes and S Harrison Smith, they lose one of them and it would be a big loss. Xavier Rhodes is a top 5 cover corner in this league, nobody San Fran has to offer will faze him, Vikes should have the right side of offensive line back and a new left guard. Vikings have very little question what they will bring to the table and the Niners will have tons of new personell and coaching. Plus they have the Colin Kaepernick, :00hour Giving the Vikings 4.5 is a gift and if 5 dimes post the line, I am grabbing it immediately, cause if Peterson stays the line will be 3 or under. Viking Team will be making a push at the Wild Card.
God help me but if the Packers make the right moves on Defense, I playing them to win the Super Bowl!

Early line for Pitt/NE was NE -7 + now it's down to -3 1/2. Perhaps, Tommy Boy gets to sit down first few games? Nothing decided yet, but the line drop sure is fishy this early!!

Vikings have them beat on offense, defense, and special teams. Niners are a 5 win team and Minny has chance to push for playoffs but they will be in almost every game.
