Old School,

What are you looking at for teaser options this week?

I am thinking Gmen +17.5 or Pack +8.5 should be golden. Also love Pitt +3. Just can't see them losing a home playoff game to the Fish.

Need to think about the next 2. Thinking of teasing the Oak Hou total either down or up. Either should be good. Then I'll need one more.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Green Bay +9 in Green Bay in what amounts to Eli vs Aaron.....

I ask myself this...if one team might scorch the other..

Can't imagine GB getting scorched..

I can see Eli and Co. turning it over 2 times..

OR...THE SIMPLE FACK THAT GB SCORES TD'S..AND NEW YORK KICKS FG'S DUE TO BAD FIELD POSITIONS IN A MAJOR PART OF THE GAME
..

EARLY WEATHER REPORT..HIGH OF 23 DEGREES WINDS 10-15 MPH.
MY GUESS WINDCHILL 17-19 DEGREES AT BEST......

Packer Fans will be rocking Lambeau Field..

OAK/HOU.

THERE IS 36' at 5 Dimes..,...in a 13 point teaser..that total becomes 23'

so a bore me to death they struggle to score game of ...14-10 ..17-7 etc covers the teased total..

this game is in a controlled retractable roof stadium...conditions should be fantastic for each team...

from my earlier post..

will look at these from a side /total player angle

Raiders w/Carr were an offense that set up the big play ..their rush and pass were close enough to do that..Carr only had 6 INT's in 15 games.....Cook for Raiders turned over 2 times[int and fumble][did fumble twice one recovered by Raiders in 21 passing attempts...now he faces a team that is ranked 12th against the rush and 2nd against the pass.

Mighty tall order to ask a rookie w/1 real NFL relief picture appearance to navigate his way in Houston.

Brock has shyt the bed all season but between the 2 QB's and Raiders 26th ranked Total D for the 16 games this year..gotta think his time on the Bronco's albeit on the sidelines in huge games is better prepared for a playoff game...he did better last week ..on Sunday when he threw for 253 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score.

I can't take Oakland ...backdoor wide open I know with Sebastian Janikowski who is near perfect from 40-49 out..

BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

GOTTA LAY THE 3 AND A HOOK...simply can't ask a rookie to go into a playoff game in what should be a closed roof stadium and even cover the 3'

KEEP IN MIND THE TEXANS WERE SHUTOUT BY KC 30-0 IN LAST YEARS WILD CARD ROUND..THEY GOTTA BE BETTER PREPARED WITH THAT SOUR TASTE IN THEIR MOUTHS

more after so more homework..
13 tease the home team Texans given the above Texans +9' falls in line with a lot of the theory I used all season..unanswered TD AND 2 POINT COVERSION DOESN'T BEAT..given the Qb's in this game that could be huge..

and the "Over" 23' who under regular season performance would have a total posed at 43..

now given the absence of Carr..I can't see Connor Cook and Brocks lowering the final 20 points..

10 yeah...13 maybe..........worst case ..Cook has a miserable game and Houton post a 21 spot..fied goal by Oak. still "Covers" the teased action of 23..

Miami
Dolphins

14
The Dolphins blew out the Steelers in Miami in October behind the running of Jay Ajayi. This is a much different Steelers team and they are at home. They have made big strides on defense since that game, finished 12th in total defense and 10th in scoring defense. A lot of young defenders have improved in a big way. The Dolphins finished 29th in total yards on defense and 18th in scoring. That has to be a good thing for Ben Roethlisberger, Le?Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. I look for those three to all have big games here. The Dolphins, with Matt Moore at quarterback, won?t be able to keep up. Steelers take it.

something else to consider even with the kinda bad temps in the teens..

Fish last 6 games have gone "Over" the posted closing line total

and 9 out of the last 10 for Fish as well have gone "Over"

One only need to have watched Ben and the other 2 B's do their offensive magic to know they are bringing their 25 points to Heinz Field

DET at SEATTLE-8...This is a tuffy..Ya take Det. plus the 8 and you asking a team that has given up 73 points in there 2 latest loses and has suffered 3 straight losses of which 2 were on the road..trailing 31-17 vs GB in the 4th period and running out of gas in the "Motor City"..TD w/8 seconds left makes the game look closer than it was..
Lions: Detroit, which has won only one playoff game since winning the 1957 NFL title, will face long odds to advance on the road against the Seahawks courtesy of Larry Lage//.............................Personally I have really enjoyed watching Det. this year...man o man they can get hammered outdoors in that stadium of noise

FROM THE SEATTLE ANGLE IT'S ALL ABOUT RECENT EXPERIENCE AND THEY HAVE IT IN ABUNDANCE

This team isn't all that special..losing 3 of their last 6 and struggling against SF in a game they needed to win..

But they do possess is the ability in that noise metered stadium is to shut your passing game down and hold their opponent to 19 or less..

It can get away from Detroit just like it did to Carolina in that noise pit...hanging tuff in the start of the second quarter and the next thing ya know Seattle and Wilson have taken advantage of a turnover..converted it into a TD..now you are down 10 OTR and Seattle kicks back to back FG's and then Wilson takes control from there..

Hopefully a good game..would really like to see the Lions pull of the upset...but can't see it happening in that outdoors noise pit ..

8 is a bucket load...I'll pass both ways....+8 may very well be the "Right Side" but I fear the "Comeback Kids" are out of gas

Now Detroit in a 13 point teaser gets my attention..3 unanswered TD's don't beat ya..but that a conversation for another day in another thread of that angle of wagering

takes 4 unanswered scores to beat the teased 21..just doesn't happen much in the pass happy NFL these days...

Thanks Old School, appreciate the help.

I am still leaning slightly more towards the Gmen +17.5 then the Pack +8.5, although I see this winning either way.

I think this will be a hard fought game that comes down to the wire, and being that it's playoffs, I just can't see either team getting blown out here. I see a 23-17 or 23-20 kind of game. I just feel a little more comfortable with the extra points and that D that the Giants have. This will be a real test for Rodgers. Also, Pack secondary is the worst in the NFL. I see the Giants receivers being open all day long.

Further, the Pack lost at home earlier in the year to Dallas by 14, and lost to the Colts by 5, but were getting blown out in that game and easily could have lost by 2 td's. I feel like the Pack have not seen a D like this, not even close.

Bottom line, I think either side hits on this teaser, I just like the 17.5. That's a lot of points. And it's a key number to boot.

Thanks again!
