If That's True, No Wonder Why Don Lemon Avoided Charges Over the Minneapolis Church Storming Incident
Townhall.com ^ | 23 January A.D. 2026 | Matt Vespa

It sure seems like Don Lemon should’ve been charged for violating the FACE Act. Amy wrote yesterday that the round-ups have begun. Lemon, who is now independent, was there during the entire shambolic event last week, where leftist clowns stormed a church in Minneapolis because they thought an ICE agent was inside, specifically the priest or pastor whose been accused of working with federal immigration officials.

The city has been on edge since the January 7 shooting of Renee Nicole Good, who was shot and killed by an ICE agent after she rammed him with her car. Good was a known leftist activist, who had disrupted ICE raids before.

But Lemon was not charged, and we likely know why: the local judge’s wife works for Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison:

Well, that certainly explains a lot, huh?

Always a conspiracy. It’s never that there’s no basis in the law.

Federal review finds Minnesota’s Medicaid improper payments far below national average

A new federal review from the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services shows Minnesota’s Medicaid program has an improper payment rate far below the national average.

CMS reported an error rate of slightly more than 2.1%, compared with a national average of 6.1%.
The data was compiled before the Minnesota Department of Human Services began rolling out new strategies to reduce fraud and strengthen its systems. Reviewers compared billing statements with medical records to confirm billing accuracy.

“No amount of error or fraud is acceptable. Even one dollar is too much,” Temporary Human Services Commissioner Shireen Gandhi said. “We’re committed to making Minnesota a national model for preventing fraud and catching errors. This review shows we have strong internal controls that we continue to improve, and we are not stopping there as we accelerate our efforts to fight fraud.”

The findings come as federal authorities threaten to withhold $2 billion in annual funding tied to program integrity.

Since fall 2024, DHS has introduced several processes and reforms to detect and prevent fraud, including identifying 14 high‑risk services, creating a Medicaid program integrity webpage, auditing autism service providers, ending the Housing Stabilization Services program, placing a moratorium on adding new providers in high‑risk services, implementing licensure for autism centers, disenrolling inactive providers, starting enhanced pre‑payment reviews and developing plans to review and revalidate providers.

The report is the first hard data in the past year identifying the scope of improper payments in Minnesota’s Medicaid program. CMS conducts ongoing reviews under a law passed by Congress in 2019. State officials say the findings provide another tool for ensuring the integrity of benefit programs.

“The CMS review confirms DHS is doing better than the national average in complying with Medicaid payment requirements. And in our ongoing effort to reduce errors and strengthen program integrity, the state is bringing on independent consultants to double‑check payments, audit processes and recommend changes going forward,” Gandhi said.
