24/FEB - Monday's NHL

Didn't have a chance to look at many games this weekend and ended up not playing any at all. Hope everyone had a great weekend! And if you didn't... all my positive vibes are sent to you for a great week!

Not much action today but one that really appeals to me:

SAN JOSE -.5 (-155)
San Jose needed a big win to bounce back from their recent slumps and regain confidence. Some might say that it came against a struggling Columbus team but I think the Sharks could of had a boost of confidence even if they killed a minor league team. I believe the Sharks will ride on playing good hockey in the next couple of games.

The Flames finally won a game, something they don't do very often these days (kinda like the Habs)! Iginla scored 4 goals in four different ways coming close to Lemieux's record game of 5 goals in all possible ways. But I saw the goals he scored on Burke and let's just say that Burke looked a little rusty.

Will look at more games tomorrow but don't foresee any additional plays.

Detroit -.5 (-165)
The Wings are coming off to big wins in which they had solid goaltending by CuJo. This should be a good thing for him to forget about his goaltending struggles this season. The offense is really working well and should continue on it'S romp tonight against Jamie Storr and the Kings.

The Kings are fighting for their playoff chances and will bring a good effort in tonight to try to stay in the game as long as possible. The Kings are aware of Detroit's fine offensive play of late and won't try to go for a run-and-gun game against them. I see a 3-0 final score for the Wings.

As long as the Kings don't score more than 2, I have no problem with the Wings scoring 4 or more! I was initially thinking about the Under but decide to go for the Kings Under due to that mention!
