I simply don't like this weeks card!
:scared

But...I'm playing these two teasers for now:

2 game 6 point Teaser
Kansas City Chiefs +8
&
Baltimore Ravens +12.5

Chiefs +8?this line has been Bills -2.5 all week and I was hoping it would move up to -3 when the news broke about Priest Holmes being out for the season?however?the line moved the other way and I?m afraid it could move down to a pickem by Sunday so Hit it now!...even though Holmes is OUT the Chiefs should have no trouble at all running the football with Larry Johnson against a Bills Defense that ranks as one of the worst Defensive rush units in the entire league?plus?even though the Bills are coming off of their bye week that emotional and deflating loss to the Patriots is still in the back of the Bills players minds?the Bills are 3-1 ATS in their last 4 Home?but the Chiefs are 3-1 ATS in their last 4 overall and have won 2 straight games in this series and 3 out of the last 4 overall?I feel the Chiefs matchup really well against the Bills and could win this one outright!
Kansas City 23 Buffalo 20

Ravens +12.5?yes the Ravens have been a disappointment this season but they are playing good football and could have won their last two games against two playoff caliber teams Pittsburgh and Cincinnati?the Jags on the other hand have been a disappointment as well as they have struggled the last few weeks and had a horrible Texans team take them to the wire in Jax last week?add to that the Jags will be without Fred Taylor this week and that will hinder a Jags offense that hasn?t been able to put points on the board all season long?this matchup has always been a battle between these two but a closer look reveals that the Ravens have DOMINTED the Jaguars since their inception?the Ravens have won 6 straight games over the Jags and even though the jags are a 6.5 point chalk this won?t be a walk in the park for the team from Florida...I think this one will be decided in the 4th quarter and even though I?m picking the Jags to win the game?.the Ravens are the team that is playing better ball at this time and should cover the 12.5 in this teaser.
Jacksonville 20 Baltimore 16

2 Game 6 point Teaser
Pittsburgh Steelers -1.5
&
Dallas Cowboys +8.5

Steelers -1.5?The Steelers are one of the better teams in the AFC but have a few injuries to deal with since Qb Roeslisberger and HB?s Bettis and Parker will likely be OUT?however?the team the Steelers play this week is their arch rival from Cleveland?the Browns have been a respectable 3-5 team up to this point but are only 1-3 on the Road with their lone road win coming against the 1-7 Packers?the Steelers have won 3 straight in this match up and 9 out of the last 10 meetings?this one should be close for a while?until the Steelers defense takes charge in the second half?this is a key game for the Steelers to win at home to keep pace with the Bengals in the AFC North.
Pittsburgh 19 Cleveland 13

Cowboys +8.5?Donovan McNabb is playing banged up and this Philly team just isn?t the team that went to the NFC Championship Game the past 3 years?the Eagles problems stem from them not being able to run the ball or defend the run which are the Top 2 ingredients for a winning team?it doesn?t get any better this week as they must face a Cowboys team that simply took them apart in Dallas back in week #5?the Cowboys not only dominated them on the Scoreboard 33-10 but they embarrassed them on the field out gaining them 456 to 129 in Total yards which is as one-sided as it gets?I don?t expect the Cowboys to dominate the Eagles they way they did in week #5?but?they match up really well against the Eagles and should at the very least ?hang in there? until the final gun?I like the 8.5 in this teaser?but?I wouldn?t be surprised if the Eagles pull out a last minute win to show the world they can win without Terrell Owens?.the Cowboys are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 overall?while the Eagles are only 2-7 ATS in their last 9.
Philadelphia 24 Dallas 23

I can't get out the Gun this week but I'm still hoping I'll win both of these Small plays.

GLTA!

Adding this 4 Game 13 point Teaser for a Bigger Play.

My 4 game 13 point teasers are 4-1 on the year!

4 game 13 point Teaser:

KC Chiefs +15...getting more than 2 TD's is what I call great value because i don't see the Bills "D" stopping the Chiefs running game....I think the Chiefs could win this one outright.

Patriots +10...This is another game in which I don't think I'll need the points because the Pats should win this game...even if the Fins upset them I think it will be by a late FG or TD and not enough to cover 10.

Bears -pickem...if this game were being played in Frisco it would scare me a bit because the Niners have played decent at home...but it's not...so I think the Bears roll in this one - something like 20-0.

St. Louis Rams +20...they are off their bye week and face a Seahawks team that has been solid this year but their offense isn't as good as people think...plus...Torry Holt and Bulger will be back and the Rams without Martz are giving the "pig" more to Steven Jackson which is a good thing...do the Rams have a chance at an outright upset win??...possibly...all I know is the 20 points WILL cover this game.

The books have taken a beating the past 2 weeks with alll the chalk covering. I suspect some of the lines this week reflect an "adjustment".

I typically wait until around week 12 to start looking seriously at teasers. This year I'm starting a little earlier as the books are making some tight lines already.

I think teasers make a lot of sense later in the year. I'm also on a couple of small teaser plays.....

Good Luck :)

Thanks Screamin...I've just learned over the years that you can't beat the spread by picking sides every week of the season and by playing teasers now and then it increases your chances of winning.

I hit my BIG play and lost one of my smaller ones with the Cowboys +8.5 still alive for tonight...however...I'm leaning toward the Eagles and just played them at -2.5 in the hopes of cathing the 6 point middle....I originall had the Eagles winning 24-23 but I'm thinkin more on the lines of 23-17 now.

Adding this Small play:

Philadelphia Eagles -2.5
Over Dallas

This is a Huge revenge game for the Eagles because the Cowboys absolutely dominated this Eagles team that was clearly unprepared and looking ahead to their bye week in week #5 33-10?this week I expect this proud Eagles team to rise to the occasion in the Monday Night spotlight and prove to the nation that they can win without T.O?plus Eagles D-Coordinator Jimmy Johnson admitted this week that his Defense was caught off guard by the Cowboys passing attack in their first meeting and I expect Johnson to formulate a better gameplan which will include taking advantage of a weaker Cowboys O-Line (no LT Flozell Adams) and blitz the immobile Drew Bledsoe?I expect the crowd to be LOUD as ever which has always hindered Drew Bledsoe when he has played on the road?on the flip side?I expect the Eagles to involve HB Brian Wetbrook more in the offense now that T.O is gone and take advantage of a Cowboys secondary that likes to gamble but can get burned for the big play when they lose?the Eagles are 15-6 ATS in games after a SU loss, 8-0 ATS in weeks 10-13 over the last 3 seasons, 8-1 ATS in Home games VS Conference opponents over the last 2 years and 36-19 ATS revenging a loss VS opponents since 1992?the Eagles have also beaten the Cowboys 9 out of the last 11 times with seven of those wins by more than 22 points?and last but not least?the Eagles have beaten the Cowboys the last 6 games played in Philly and are undefeated 3-0 this season at Home.

Another profitable week as I won my big play teaser and went 1-2 on the small plays.

2-2 overall for the week.

27-10 in my last 37 wagers/posts.

On to Week #11!
