25th anniversary (HAWAII) - Need advise

1st time visit - any input on what to do where to stay

The plan so far
1 week on Oahu
1 week on the Big Island

Went on my honeymoon and stayed 1 week in Maui. Took a flight to oahu to visit pearl harbor. This is just my opinion and I did not go anywhere but pearl harbor outside of staying on maui, but I would much rather stay on the island of maui as apposed to oahu. Did not go to the big island so someone else can help with that, but the limited time spent in oahu made me happy that I spent the week in Maui. When I go back I will be visiting Maui.

yeah i like maui also very much.....make sure you get a place on the beach wherever you stay...

Wife and I stayed on Maui for a week last year, and liked it. We rented a condo on the beach, and it was nice. The road to Hana was really memorable, and the trip to the top of the volcano and bike ride down was amazing.

Definitely some memories to be had on Maui, some great whale watching and local flavor to be had. Have a great trip, wherever you go.
