Did the last paycheck you received in Decemeber have the correct YTD amount on the salary to end the year or does that go on the one you receive Jan1st?

IE- your salary is 100k for the year

Dec 18th paycheck YTD is 100k or is it less? Did the Jan 1st paycheck have a YTD that was a brand new total for the year or did it add onto the 2009 YTD?

That's the easiest way to figure it. If what they're saying is true then your YTD total on the Dec 18th paycheck should be 100k. If not and they're lowering your bi weekly for 2010 then they still owe you money for 2009.

Please do not thrash me with your fancy words but as I have posted twice already it is something along these lines.

Lets assume he makes 100000 a year. He was supposed to be paid on 26 weeks in 09 which is 3846 biweekly. He was only paid 25 weeks at this number and instead will have 27 checks of 3703 coming in 10. (3703 X 27) + (3846 X 25)= 196150. It should equal 200000 if it is so simple no

If you think those words are fancy, wait til you see the words I use in meetings.

I don't think I made sense in my last post but do this, just look at your last two pay stubs. Those will tell you everything you need to know.

I figured that the thread would be completely dead once the greatest payroll clerk of this generation weighed in, but . . . . I guess not.

Now, we have someone who doesn't really like Math or Cie or reading anyone posts asking questions that were asked in December. . . .should be good from here

Cie,

Just let me know what 3.8% of your salary is. I will send you the money. All I ask is for half of your College football winnings in 2010! :00hour Seriously, I hope everything works out for you.
