Montreal is coming off another good performance and the Habs, under Therrien, are riding a good streak. Looks like they will have a great atmosphere going into the all-star break. Good for the team MoJo! Panthers were badly outshot last game but came out with the win against the Canes. I'd probably take Montreal -1.5, if I could.

PHIALDELPHIA UNDER 3 GOALS
Philly isn't exactly a scoring machine and have only scored more than 3 goals once (against the Rangers) in their last 5 games. Tampa Bay will be fresh and will fight hard for puck possession. Khabibulin will be the difference in this one. I saw him play against Montreal and he was true to his reputation. I didn't catch the Nashville game but I sensed a let-down by TBAY having played their 3rd in 4 nights, and B2B as well against a hot Preds team. I think Tampa has a good chance in this one.

Pretty much same reasons why I am choosing Philly under 3 goals... this will be a hard fought game and Khabibulin will be the difference.

The Bruins are starting to play the kind of hockey they were accustomed to play in the first 30 games of the season. With Hackett in nets, they have improved tremendously. Everyone that plays hockey knows that when you don't have to worry about your goalie making the saves, you can concentrate on other things like scoring goals. The Preds are in a 3/4 spot and should be coming into this one pretty confident... the only thing is that they will probably be missing their legs tonight. The B's should take advantage of this during their power plays. I think the Preds will give a good battle but fall apart in the 2nd half of the game. I am thinking of taking the Bruins Over 3? goals but 3? is alot of goals. You never know, Vokoun could limit the damage.

Being from Montreal, I can relate to you that the spirit here is high. Also, the Habs came back from a 2-goal deficit, not something we have seen much of this year; it's always a good thing to have coming in a game.

NY RANGERS (-125)
The Rangers are coming off a big loss to the Caps. Mironov was ejected from that game and the Rangers where playing on a B2B. They have played quite well lately and have a sense of urgency in terms of playoff contention. Atlanta does look good coming off a 5-1-1 performance in their last 7 games. I've watched them play against Ottawa and Savard played a real good game in that one. He was there in the last game and assisted on the 1st goal of the Thrashers to set the tone. He was hurt afterwards. I believe his presence will be felt tonight. I think it will be a game that goes down to the wire.
