WOW! This is one of the sweetest victories I have had all year - not moneywise - but just felt good to be on the right side of it - and congrats to arrow and randercity and whoever else hit this inflated halftime line...now this just hit by a point - but honestly what more could these teams have done to try to get that total over? I know i was following it on the cbssportsline ticker - and i swear they were scoring at will every 10 seconds or so - and then you have Houston up over 20 - and continuing to pour it on and hit threes - when i'm talking to myself saying "run some clock" - and one missed FT at the end sealed the deal...

Have now run 3 straight winning days, and 10 of the last 11 days i've wagered have been winning days...February is still heating up and hitting a solid 60.3% on my 73 plays made in 2005...

Let's keep it up gang! I didn't see a line i liked tonight until this one - patience pays off - let's get 'em again tomorrow - if we see value!

GL to all!

Updated 2005 record:
NFL: 7-2 +$2,700
NCAA Basketball: 30-21 +$3,290
NBA: 7-6 +$340
January Record: 25-17 +$4,000
February Record: 19-12 +$2,330
Overall record: 44-29 60% +$6,330

yah, that was nice win. It is good being on the right side of a 1/2 point win but it did look ugly on the ticker at one point!

Hey chuckdman - I totally agree - i won a few close ones this past week - the under here - and i waited and got under 66 in the pro bowl - total came to 65 - it is good to be on the right side of the hook or point - and we all have to keep this in mind when we lose by a hook or a point - those close calls do even out - but if you are a solid capper - you'll find yourself on the winning end of those just a tad more...

I've learned when on the short end of it to not get too upset - and to learn from it - i am a firm believer in looking at what went right or wrong after you won or lost a wager -and using that knowledge in the future - have to always stay positive though and keep that edge...i just ran off 7 winning days and had a tough loss w/ Colorodo +20 on Saturday - they were hanging in there down like 7 w/ 9 minutes to go - and then basically Kansas just pummeled them and won by 29 - so i basically Colorodo played as i expected they would for 75% of the game, then just seemed to fall apart - but i learned from it - and didn't go chasing that days losses - just sat back - and didn't play anything else - and focused on Sunday's games and getting back to winning, and had a winning day Sunday, Monday, now Tuesday - and gonna try to make it 4 in a row tomorrow (if i find an edge) - or else the next day i wager...

More people should approach sports investing this way - bet for the value when they feel they have an edge - not just for the action...and after a loss never get down and always feel positive you are going to win your next play...I see too many people get down on themselves and go chasing after losses - and then i see themquestion why they aren't winning any money and they conclude they just can't win - it takes discipline - EVERY DAY

I have never had a losing season in the 5 plus years I've been sports investing - and it's because I believe in myself and my ability to spot value (career winning percentage of just over 57%) and I have the discipline and money management it takes to succeed and make some good money doing this in my spare time...

GL to you guys - always here to help out and share my knowledge and input - and you can be sure if I post a game - it's because I believe in it 100% - i won't win them all - but i feel confident i'll win at least 57 out of 100 of them :)
