LA Angels -200.

Byrd is awful and Santana is automatic at home and an all star. I see absolutely no way that they lose this game. If you can sweep Boston then you beating Paul Byrd and one of the worst road teams in baseball shouldn't be a problem. This is free money folks.

What value? Byrd has been horrible all year especially on the road. Santana is having a great year and has always been automatic at home. The only value I see is on the Angels.

The Angels may very well win, and may win big and I hope you do cash it. However the value is definetely with the Indians. Angels coming off a sweep of the World Series champions are in the perfect spot for a let down.

Santana career vs Indians 0-5 6.59 era

Laying -200 here is way too steep for the Big Gay one, I'll set this one out and be a cheerleader for you. :0corn

Where it is real F ing COLD
I think this spot is just right. I figure the Angels to win this 7 out of 10 times which makes you winning $100 bucks if you bet this set up 10 times. So in order to get real good value one would need to predict the Angels to win this game 8 out of 10 or if taking the Indians would need the Indians to win 4 out of 6 times in this spot. Just can't commit to either. Now if I were making a play just for action, I would go with the Angels because I could see them having a better chance of winning in this spot greater than 70% of the time before i can see the Indians winning in this spot greater than 30% of the time. I think I just wasted a bunch of time.

-200 is some big time juice on a guy like santana who has struggled so big against the tribe.

BUT, its a game of the year so it HAS to win, right?

This is what I like to call a lock of a lifetime. The line is -200 for a reason. The books are begging you to take Cleveland. The sharp money has pounded LA up to a 215 favorite. The books know LA will win this game and they are asking the public to take Cleveland by offering the huge return. Believe me the books wants LAA to win this game. Which side had you rather be on?

Sharp money moves the lines up thus the Angels moving to -220ish. Do you think the books want to pay out the big underdog? The line is that high for a reason. Vegas knows something we don't. I will trust Vegas.

Joe public moves the line up, Angels are a very "square" play tonight. Not saying it will win or lose but if you follow line movement in MLB you're wasting your time.

Trust me sharps are not finding any value in a -200 fav, in fact I would be willing to bet no sharp would even waste there time with that big of a fav.

Congrats Harv, in only your fifth post you have used the terms: Game of the year" Lock of a lifetime" Vegas knows something we don't" and "this is free money"

Though you've only been here a short while you have earned my nomination for thread of the year. Congrats again ! :00hour :00hour

Best of luck with your plays, but you might try to tone it down a bit next time. :0corn :0corn

guys i apologize for those who tailed me on my second half GOY. what a tough loss. a shocker. ididn't see anyway that LA would lose this game with all the momentum on their side and going against a pitcher like Byrd. Back tomorrow.
