Your Ref reference is hilarious ...i'm sure the REF'S give a shit who wins...Gl with your play...
Thank you..... Like I said, they TRIED TO HELP ALA ON A FEW PLAYS... NOT CALLING PASS INT, ON A DEF. PASS INT. LATER IN THE 2nd HALF, AND OTHER PLAYS THE SAME.... THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME.... I really believe the refs FAVORED ALA all game more than they did OHIO ST... BUT, like I said, when I placed the play IT WOULDNT MATTER... ALA WAS OUTMATCHED EXACTLTY LIKE THEY WERE VS. UTAH.... COMPLETELY UNPREPARED FOR AN OPPONENT THAT DOESNT PLAY SEC LIKE FOOTBALL...
I am happy you enjoyed my "REF REFERENCE"... (I like that saying in itself)... Refs are humans, and each one I am sure wants one team to win more than the other, but THAT IS NOT what comes into play from what I have read, learned, AND USE in my handicapping, ESPECIALLY in 2nd HALF NBA GAMES.... (Tim Donaghy's book, A PERSONAL FOUL is where I learned all about this)..
Games are fixed; not necessarily on win/lose, but start watching how many NBA games a timeout is called with appx 35 seconds left and the team down 10+ is the one who calls the timeout.... WHY????? To get on the same page... PERIOD.... read the book... It will help IMO, ANYONE, who reads it, in picking more winners consistantly in NBA and other sports too.... REFS/UMPIRESand now replay officials too, must be brought into the "capping" of the points, because THEY DEFINITELY AFFECT THE GAME..... How many games come down to a 3 ball making it or not making it after a team down 20, with a minute left, and is getting 11, seems to go on a 7-0 run on a possesion, 2 turnovers by the opponent out of the blue, and said team scores two more buckets, down just 13 now has the ball with seconds left and shoots a 3..... goes in, dog covers, if it doesnt, they dont.... THINGS contrary to the FLOW OF THE ENTIRE GAME UNTIL THAT FINAL MINUTE, completely 180 to give the dog, at least a chance to cover.... I HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN A MILLION TIMES>.. I HAVE POSTED what will happen, play by play on this site in the final 2 minutes, and somehow "DANIEL NEGRANAU'd the future of the end of that game.... Most of it luck I am sure, but I knew there was a good chance it would end that way based on how the league wants to keep gamblers excited against the spread as much as fans wishing for a win/loss..... (Little off track, but I am trying to explain why I believe in the referee thing so much.... IT WORKS... FOR ME...)
Best of luck to you, and again, Im glad you got a kick out of my ref explanation....
