Well I will go against the grain of some very good tips i got out here, Don't really care who likes what after I have my work up done, I lay out the money and I don't even listen to anyone of the people i get tips from or the books out here I deal with when they (people I take care of at a few books ) Tell me such and such hit this, and such and such out here is not 500 buck players. Seems lot of good size players both men and lady friend are all over tex.tech. Good for them I took cal-10 for a above avg play.
If cal shows up which they will or people will say they were a fake they will win and win easy. Why? Because they can run the ball and in any fb game hs, college or pro the team that can win the running game and that means takes control of the line will win the game more times then not. I don't care who comes from what conf, see lot of that going last few weeks, as a coach for a long time let me tell you, in any sport you can take the top 4-5 teams out of every major conf , sec,pac 10,big east, acc, big 10, big 12 no order here just conf names and toss them all in a hat and draw match ups and no conf will walk over another in a round robin or head to head type play. Forget who is the best conf, that is all bs, take the better team in any sport if the match up favors them.
You can't say well a team is not ready that is a guess. You can't say a conf is better because year to year things change,look at acc and big east in fb, hell the big east really won the acc if you really want to dig into it and will so year in and year out ? maybe, maybe not. The whole thing is that the top teams 4 in any d1 major conf and you can throw in the top 2 teams from a few mid majors and year to year they can play with anyone in any sport, the only difference the so called power conferences have is a deeper bench. All teams have d1 starters, some teams may lack one or two play-makers tops, but after that it is all about team depth. Go ahead tell me I am clueless about coaching and ncaa sports. Been around it way to long for someone to try and even tell me I am wrong. The teams might change ever few years or so who is the top 4 in their conference, but who every they are they will be a top team in any conf that year. So forget the fan fare shit. Anyone can beat anyone as a top 4 team of a major conf.
Cal can run and if they do run like they can they will win this game by 14+. You have to be balanced on both sides of the ball when it comes to this time of the year, your not playing the non conf. games all sports have , yes baseball more then any in college to rack up wins, these teams are real teams now who if on their game can = any other team they play. I think Cal has lot to play for as a ex coach, they have more to lose if they are'nt ready for the game.
