osu is better on defense? thats REALLY stretching it, considering pitt is near the top in almost every defensive category and #3 in the nation in scoring D.

What I was getting at is when you combine the full ability of each teams D and O OkSt is the better team::

Pitt had a great def season b/c they dominated inside, they will not dominate inside vs OkSt and they cannot keep close to OkSt Offensive power!

however, with pitt shooting 35% vs Wiksy and 29% vs UCF, they better get their shooting shoes on vs OK St, who after some FH jitters vs EWU has looked solid ... they are deep and their double figure scorers shoot 50%, 47%, 59% and 58% (plus they bring 4 guys off bench over 50%--amazing); Pitt had some hot shooters during the year so this game will be who can assert their will defensively

argument can be made Pitt has played slightly tuffer teams so far and on rd basically vs Wisky ... and both team late in year seemed to have legit shots as #1 seeds

Ok St can score and seems to shutdown guards, they gave EWU starting backcourt 1-15 from field; and Burks for memphis had solid game but rest of starters went 7/27

i like ok st to make the finals and will ride them here to cover the 1.5

I can understand your thought. Wisky did even with out rebounding well stay in there face. I believe OK ST beats Wisky in same type of game by 8 to 10. OK ST -1 over Pitt seems agood call. Next year Wisky has a chance at being better.

do you take into account that pitt has been to the past two sweet 16's? experience for this type of pressure has to mean something. you had mentioned their jitters against ewash and memphis is an undiscipline team. beating wisconsin on a near home court with plenty of fans is a lot tougher imo than beating memphis. just giving my 2 cents. this probably will be one of the best games this week, with that being said it is tough to make this the top play of the year. good luck though.

I hope not Monk. I will be there and man would it be painful. I would of course have to root against Duke, but I just cant cheer for OSU. Kind of like an AM-OU game, damn shame one will win.

Okie State is a fun team to watch and I just have a feeling this is their year. Besides, it will make me feel better about my Horns losing those 2 big conference games to the National Champs.
