Thoughts on Schilling tonight? Three days rest. Does anyone have any stats on Schilling's performnace on three days rest?Schilling and Johnson rely on their velocity to set up other pitches. If he doesn't have his velocity tonight, I think the Yankees can wait on other stuff and knock him around a bit? Thoughts?

Raymond...You are correct. Shill has pitch on 3 days rest only once in his career. it was for your Phillies against Toronto in a World Series game something like '93 or '94.
looking for the Yanks to come out strong tonight against a pitcher they have already seen. Think maybe they can figure him out tonight. Don't know how much only three days rest will come into play here..I would think it won't matter a whole lot. Just a hunch that they start hitting tonight.

Good Luck

On the course!
Take the under! He will be fine.

7' runs? Not a chance, baby.

Best bet of the Playoffs so far.

Phenom, How can you possibly think that!!

Anderson made them look like little leaguers, and I bet the yanks for the series.

Schilling on 3 days rest is better than most pitchers in the league w/ a months rest.

The fact that even great pitchers have a bad game once in awhile. I just think he is do for a bad one. I may be very far off, just my gut feeling.

Schilling pitched on 3 days rest once this season after going only 2+ vs SD when the game was cancelled due to a power outage. He came back strong in his next outing.

Yanks haven't hit yet this series, including last night.
Shilling slated to go 7 or less(IMO, and HE knows it)
Best part of bullpen rested.
Backs will be looser, and play better "D" which was ultimately their undoing last night.
Orlando has stunk recently, no confidence.
Guess who i"m takin?

He will be tough if he has a good
spliter(spiter?)... unless the yankee
hitters..take him deep into the count.

Why?
