1. Taking a leap of faith here with Rice -3 over San Jose St, by that i mean it is difficult beating a team 3 straight times, as rice took both regular season meetings. Although rice went 2-5 SU their last 7 games they were 4-3 ATS, but the downfall here as that they weren't favored in any of those games. They played tough their last 7 games, not losing by more than 11 against the top teams in the league, with their lone blow out loss at hawaii. Rice has a talented group of young players and a bright future. A first round win would really boost their confidence going into next season, altough they probably won't make it past the 2nd round.
2. UL Lafaytte +8.5 vs West KY. UL lafayette can play with anybody in their league, West Ky. is 27-3 SU but only 13-13-1 ATS, UL Lafaytte is 20-9 SU but a respectable 12-11-1 ATS in lined games, winning 6 of their last 7 games, going 4-3 ATS. My main reason for playing UL Lafaytte is a go AGAINST West KY. There is no telling how many times this team has collasped in the 2nd half, blowing numerous covers, 8.5 is a very generous #. I don't care if vegus hands out gifts or not, i'm going with the team that plays the full 40 minutes, and a outright win by UL Lafaytte is not out of the question. One last thing to add, West Ky Average line played against is -10.6 with the Average result verses lined games is +.03.
3. Coat tailing loophole's play here on boise st, early money is definitey going on UTEP, with the line down to pk at some books, but look for a strong buy back near game time. Utep is 1-6 SU thier last 7 games, with only one of those loses by 3 points the others with none less than eight points.
The one thing that scares me is that probabaly most all cappers like all 3 of these games, i'm sure their will be some contraion(sp) plays out there, but hoping for at least a 2-1 night, which puts on the plus side. Good Luck to all
