Marvins Chase System:
1) Adjust all results of teams to the spread line and keep a record of these results. For ex: if a team is pk and loses by 4 pts., it is a -4. If a team is a 5 pt. fav. and wins by 10, it is a +5, etc. etc.
(2) Look at the HIGHEST whole number that the team has earned over a 5-game period, regardless of whether it is a + or a -. So in a series like the following: +4,-6,+2,-5,-10, the highest whole number, disregarding sign is 10.
(3) Do not play until a team posts a number, either + or - which is at least 10 points higher than the highest whole number for the last 5 games. In the example above, a team posting a +20 or more, or a -20 or more would be a play, since this team is now more than 10 points out of it's 5-game trading parameter.
(4) Chase that team in a 3-game chase to recapitulate the + or - that put the team out of parameter. For example, if the team covered a spread by 20 or more points, you would chase ON that team to cover. If the team lost to the spread by 20 or more points, you would chase that team to LOSE ats for 3 games.
