YTD 44-43-3 -13.90 Units

Well this is the scenario. I have done well at most other sports this year but the NHL has been extremely difficult. I have been on the plus side at 4 different times this year. But their comes a point when you cut your losses and focus on what you are winning on. I am up 50 Units in CFB, about even in the NBA, winning night on my first night of CBK and up 15 Units on the year in the CFL. All posted and documented here at MJ's. So the question is, if I have another losing night, do I just take a break and give it a try again or do I stop all together and focus on what is making me money this year. Over the last 2 and a half years here on MJ's I have been up alot of Units but with the parity in the NHL or mediocrity, do I just close up shop. I guess time will tell. Fade my plays if you want to win.

Very tempted to play the Blues, they own the Bruins in the all-time series and are tough at home. I know the Bruins have played well on the road but I can't bring myself to play 4 games tonight.

Jackets tough at home while the Oilers are average on the road and have the Wings on deck.
Lalime will most likely not start for the Sens which means Prusek and he is average. Thrashers will score their share and Sens can score in bunches at times. Over looks good.
Back to back for Canucks and Cloutier will start, he lets in at least one bad goal a game. I am not impressed with him this year.

Playing:

Clb. - ML(+105)(2 Units)
Van./Mtl o5.5(+128)(2 Units)
Ott./Atl. o5.5(-115)(2 Units)

GLTA!

Horny....If things don't go well tonight, take a break. The holidays are coming, focus on your travel plans back home and all the other junk that comes this time of year.

If you get some juicy Sens news, pass it along or if you've got one of those ;) nights, let us know. Clear your head, take care of your College Bowl games and hit it hard after the first of the year. We all know NHL is a grind and after Christmas, there's still 6 months including the playoffs of pucks. These next 3 or 4 weeks will seem like nothing and once CFB is over, you can really focus on the NHL which you seem to kind of know a little about :D

BTW - You got mail

Kevin, I think it's a miracle in itself that you are up as much as you are for the year capping FOUR friggin sports at the same time. Just capping NHL along with everything else going on in my life is taking up all my time. So that already tells you about your abilities as a capper. Baseball and pucks are all I can handle, and I just piggyback the studs in the foots and hoops forum here and there. You have an outstanding record in the sin bin, so it's only a matter of time before you break out and go on a huge run. I like mugsy's suggestion, though. If you're just not feeling "IT" in pucks right now. Take a short break, concentrate on the other sports, and then come back with a rengence once the other sports die down, so you can concentrate on capping pucks.

Plus I need someone to coattail during the Bowl season, bro.;) :D

Keep plugging, buddy. Good luck tonite!

Horns, Agree with the dubber, hockey has been a vertual crap shoot. Look at last night Detroit playing the way they played and Col loosing to Nas. It lookes if you should take the opposite of what truely should happen and place a bet on it. We just keep on going. Things will turn around.

Well that is much better. Maybe I should say at the beginning of each thread that I am going to take a break if I lose each time, until I do lose. It seems the few times I have done it, I have won. If CLB could have hung on for the win I would have been up 7.5 Units, oh well, can't be greedy.
Now if the Sens could stop spotting teams huge leads and then having to come back and win they would make life so much easier. Last week they fell behind ATL 2-0 and won 5-3, they fell behind CLB 2-0 and won 5-2. Tonight they fall behind 3-0 and win 6-3.

Tonight 4-1-1 +5.41 Units
YTD 48-44-4 -8.49 Units
