Drexel +4 1/2 over Old Dominion
Baylor +8 1/2 over Kansas State
Boston College -13 over Virginia Tech

Really curious abou the Dayton / Richmond game. I love Dayton but why the line oped up at Richmond -1 and has steadily risen to Richmond -2 1/2 is beyond me. Hopefully these aren't the same smart bettors who were putting money on East Carolina yesterday over Depaul. The line movement on East Carolina kept me off of Depaul and now the line movement on Richmond may do the same for me on Dayton. Ill probably kick myself again this week for passing up on a nice winner. These people must not have seen the way Richmond has been playing in thier last couple of games including an ass kicking to that powerhouse George Washington.

What Im I missing here?

Okay Guys

Okay Guys

Im starting to feel the positive karma here on Dayton... but the real question is will i feel worse playing Dayton and they lose knowing I got drawn into a bad line, or do I not play Dayton, they crush Richmond and then i sit and wonder why i followed a bunch #@%$ line movers on Richmond?

Volfan is the king of the contrarian play. If he has a 5 star on Richmond then Im leaving it alone because i just cant for the life of me go with Richmond on this play.

Gamblings fun aint it!!!

DD don't think of Volfan being a contrarian here...the line actually moved the other way, WE ARE THE CONTRARIANS....Long live the contrarians..

Double...

Richmond is coming off of four losses that have put them below bubble status for the tourny...UD needs a win to stay one game ahead of xavier going in to their big game against X on saturday...ollie will have them ready for the game and I believe that the wrong team is favored here...GL which ever way you decide...Dayton -2 is my POD

here's an interesting article concerning the last richmond loss. i have a lot of respect for wainwright as a coach and wouldn't want to fade him in this spot.

Richmond having a tough time
Dayton Daily News

Compared to many of their trips in the Atlantic 10 Conference, the weekend hop to Washington, D.C., for a game with George Washington University looked pretty easy for the University of Richmond Spiders. It was just a two-hour bus ride to D.C. on Saturday and back home to Richmond, Va., on Sunday afternoon.

Like everything else the Spiders have been involved in the last two weeks, the bus ride didn't turn out so well.

Traveling in a snowstorm after a disappointing loss to GW, the Spiders had problems with their bus. Near Fredericksburg, Va., the windshield wipers iced up, the heater broke and the alternator malfunctioned. The result was a three-hour delay at a truck stop.

The loss to GW was the fourth straight for Richmond, which hosts A-10 West Division-leading Dayton on Wednesday.

"It's a difficult time for us right now," Coach Jerry Wainwright said. "We've been playing really good defense. If we'd just make a few baskets."

Richmond lost at home to Xavier and St. Bonaventure and on the road at Massachusetts and George Washington.

"We're a basket or two from getting back in the groove," Wainwright said.

GW coach Karl Hobbs said his team "desperately needed a win" against Richmond after a three-game losing string culminated with an 87-68 beating at Dayton on Wednesday.

Hobbs said he told his team, "Forget about the Dayton game. Erase these two days. We didn't go to Dayton. Pretend like it didn't happen."

The Colonials caught a few breaks against Richmond.

"Tony Dobbins missed a layup, Mike Skrocki missed some open shots and Jeff Myers got hurt and they had to take him out of the game for several minutes," Hobbs said. While Myers was out, GW took advantage of his replacement to get three layups in transition.

"We missed three breakaway layups from guys who have been making them," Wainwright said. "We had the best looks we've had."

With the Dayton-Xavier rematch looming on Saturday, UD coach Oliver Purnell said he would remind the Flyers about the danger of not giving their utmost attention to the Richmond game.

"A good team that's struggling is a very dangerous team," Purnell said. "We're going to play a very motivated Richmond team. I have no doubt about that."
