Starting to clear up a bit. Its hard to find fault with Empire Maker, who looked like a monster in the Florida Derby. Being by Unbridled out of a Grade 1 winning mare (Toussaud), this horse had plenty of hype. He finally lived up to it. Trust N Luck tired on an easy lead over a speed track confirming what most thought; he is a mile and a sixteenth horse at the most. At Santa Anita, Atswhatimtalkingabout made a huge run after falling far off the pace to lose by a nose to Buddy's Guy. Buddy's Guy had a better trip, saving ground and being midpack. I didn't see an excuse for Baffert's horse Domestic Dispute and Man Among Men, who had beaten Empire Maker in his last race, showed nothing. Frankel's other horse Peace Rules, may point toward the Preakness. Badge of Silver supposedly flipped his palate in the La Derby and will have that fixed before the Illinois Derby. Kafwain has been steady all along and can't be totally discounted. Hold that Tiger is in the UK right now and I have no idea how he's doing. Frankel's horse who won the Swale, looked great but we'll have to see how he handles 2 turns. Same thing with Lion Tamer.
