seems like a lot of points when you consider that...

"Despite a gaudy 16-2 record and a 14-game winning streak they will take against the NFC champion Carolina Panthers, New England has struggled mightily with its opportunities inside its opponents' 20-yard line. The Patriots ranked next-to-last in the AFC in that vital category, converting only 22 of 50 possessions into touchdowns.
New England's defense-oriented 24-14 victory against the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship amplified the problem. Yes the Patriots scored plenty of points to win.
But can they count on one touchdown, a safety, and five Adam Vinatieri field goals against the Panthers' grudging defense?"

hear what your saying but with two weks to prepare for their final opponent i think the pats offense will hit on all cylinders..and once their ahead i look for a defensive score or two to seal the deal:D see no problem covering the 6.5:D
