Your silly position in favor of a law making english the official language of the US is akin to a constitutional amendment defining marriage as an act between a man and a woman. It is a thinly veiled right wing attempt to distract the public (once again) from the real issues facing this wacko administration. I mean I'm just waiting to bring up flag burning again as the next hot topic that congress has to tackle before the November elections.

Puhleeesssse. These republican clowns without you knowing it our wittling away at your civil liberties without you knowing it. Do you realize that there were more non-english speaking people percentage wise in this country during the industrial revolution in the 1800 and 1900 hundreds then there are now and they assimilated just fine without PASSING MORE INTRUSIVE LAWS.

God you people are so willing to give away your rights. Its scary. Now I better shut up while Jack moves this over to the political forum so that Wayne can give us the Klan's perspective.

Sorry, the Boys, Wayne and Dr. Freeze have made me a grumpy, evil, angry old man. I've become paranoid and I think everyone is as stupid as IO and Ctownguy. My apologies.

Scott you are a beautiful human being. Are you also a handsome man?

I know this sounds dumb, but I assume Kosar (from being aroung in the 80's) and Ctownman (from listening to Rome) are from Cleveland. Politically, they are quite different.

Knowing Cleveland as I do, coupled with listening to Rome in the afternoon during my gambling days on the way back from Argosy (unlike everyone else on this board, I was the only one who lost, and I lost a lot of money) he would have his "smack-off".

Would be kind of interesting to have a smack off between those two. Especially if one was from the eastside and the other from the westside. I know Matt now lives in Florida and the scumbag is now polluting southern California instead of the Cuyahoga River but I think it would be fun to have a post v. post smack of between those two.

Anyway, I must be bored. I'm at the office on a Sunday morning with all sorts of good intentions and I'm picking on The Boys who did nothing to me. Again I'm sorry. I should just get to work but, don't feel like it today. Cloudy and cool out today with the hapless cubs playing the surging reds this afternoon at okay american ball park. maybe i outta go, pound a few and be worthless tomorrow in front of judge ringland.

No about as average as they come. My wife tells me I am handsome but you know how that goes.

Do you really have a ponytail ?

And do you wear it in court or do you tuck it up under your George Washinton wig thingee.?

Scott:

I have a ponytail but I only wear it when I sit in front of the computer and respond to Wayne, Weasel, IO, Ctown, Freeze, or some other member of the Hitler youth. Other than the ponytail wig, I am a normal good looking, strapping, 15 year old ready to enter my sophomore year at Eva Braun High School here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Do you realize that those people you reference back in the 1800s and 1900s were eager to learn english and assimilate into the american culture? All the while they found a way to maintain their cultural identity and merge it with the culture in which they were living. Do you think the immigrants here now are eager to learn english or merge their ways with ours? Why should they...we spoon feed them every reason not to even try. Why not have atms give the choice for every language in the world...why stop at just spanish? Why not have phone help offer every language. Can't you see it now? For macedonian, press 39.

I cant believe this but Saint hit the nail right on the head, and I couldnt agree more. In the 1800's to 1920's people came here and gave up there old languages in favor of english. My grandparents spoke 8 languages but gave them all up by choice to ASSIMILATE into american society.
Today everything has to be in spanish and they make no effort to learn english
Trust me I have worked in the citys around the North east for 15 or so years and I call on store owners whoi make NO EFFORT to learn english. They dont want to be part of the US They would prefer to bring there culture here and keep it here and not deal with "english" speakers..
Until it comes time for unemployment checks ... but thats a different story for a different day...
(BTW I am for all types of BJ's)
