4-1-1 Last week but looking to have a monster weekend; went 7 for 8 on a parlay that got beat on the Bama game when Bama fumbles with 1st and goal and 2 minutes left in the game. See alot of games this week.

UCLA -6 1/2 this will be my biggest bet ytd. I plan on playing this for 30 units. I may end up playing this for more. This game will be a blowout. I will do a write up later.

Texas A&M -27 1/2 A&M coming off a bye; SMU coming off biggest win in school history; Look for A&M to show no mercy.

Arizona State -14 bought a point. Only thing from holding me back to play this more is how they do off a loss but will be playing at home and defense should shut down NW.

Florida -6; Tenn is overrated and Leak is really coming into his own. Will do a write up later on this.

Looking a few more games.
Good luck to all

Adding a 20 unit play on VTECH -34
I ended up playing Vtech last week but it seemed too easy laying only 3 td to Duke but i could not be more wrong as their defense gave up 35 yrds yes 35 TOTAL YARDS for their entire game against Duke. :mj07: Now they face a Ohio team coming off a huge emotional win yes the biggest game in school history against Pitt and they play them IN BLACKSBURG. The telling sign in that game is they did not have an offensive touchdown the entire game. Vtech will easily and i mean easily post a shutout. I plan on playing both the first half and game for 20 units per. This line will be up close to 40 once the game begins.
Good luck

Careful betting faves and laying a LOT of chalk. Sure, some teams are going to cover large spreads like that sometimes, but if you bet heavy faves all of the time you're going to eventually burned badly. Word to the wise. Good luck.

I don't understand the negativity towards picking favorites vs acceptance of picking dogs.

Take LonghornMM's post for example. What if you take underdogs +30 or more all the time. Won't you eventually get burned too?

Scott, I wasn't trying to be negative towards Dr. Little at all. Only trying to caution him on betting all faves. He's a grown man and he can do as he chooses. Just a little give and take here. BTW, I always appreciate your analysis on the games. Keep it up!

Longhorn I completely understand what you are saying; I have been gambling for 10 years and have had my share of wins and losses. I am not afraid to take a big spread if I feel like I am on the right side and depending on the weekend games will determine if I like fav or dogs. Just like taking ND and the moneyline I felt ND was a strong play last week. A good example is an 8 team parlay that I just missed out on when Bama fumbles at the 4 with first and goal and less than two minutes to go. Costing me just a little bit. I took 4 double digit spreads and they worked out for me. They may not this week you never know.

Adding:

California -13 1/2 first half (5 units)
California -21 game (5 units)
Illini gave up over 500 yards of offense to Rutgers AT HOME; that is bad but was was more pressing was they gave up over 7 yards per run and over 12 yards per pass completion. Now they face a team that is one of the best in the business in not only running the ball but now the passing attack is hot. Cal still with a great defense should more than shutdown the Illini offense.

Missou -12 1/2 first half (3 units)
Missou -20 1/2 Game (3 units)
I know Missou loses at home to New Mexico however 3 turnovers were huge in that game to NM zero and Missou offense is running on all cylinders with almost 1300 yards of offense and revenge. This is not the same Troy team as without D Ware this team has taken a step back. Missou will not overlook him and regardless of score B Smith will play entire game. (Against Arky state played entire game even up 37-0.)

OK State -13 1/2 first half (5 units)
OK State -23 1/2 Game (5 units)
Arky State gave up nearly 700 yards of offense to Missou at Missou and was down 37-0 before they called the dogs off. OK state Def should post a shutout as Bedford OK state d coord schemes are working and Fedora ok state o coord and the ok state offense continues to get better each week and look for ok state to gain more confidence against a pourous Ark state def.

Also looking at SD State +28
and Rice +41
Still not sure about them yet

Good luck

Going to be like Scott and try to make up for a bad 1st half play and make it all up in the 2nd half
Playing V Tech -14 in the 2nd half for 20 units to make up for loss off 1st half
Figure need 18 for cover for game. Should be interesting.

Having the kind of day I was hoping for with big wins over Vtech and UCLA easy winners. Am playing Florida for 5 units. Having already played AZ state for 10 units. Am adding another 15 units on AZ state -14 bought it down one point. Would play them for even more if I did not have to worry about hangover effect but feel that they will come out like Michigan did and play out their frustrations on the field. "
Good luck
