finished with totals. this is the first time in a lot of years that first round unders were not automatic plays.
Maybe the game is evolving to make the scoring go up - I think most fans want to see action from their team
NBA playoffs used to focus on defense..I think it's like the NFL now, where the Superbowl put up pretty scores imo. I don't really know. Just a theory.
never know. could just be random. or regression back to the mean. game has definitley changed though.
I think it depends on personnel - defense wins championships, in the first rounds, some teams can just run lesser teams off the court. But when the semis and finals roll around, the totals will drop. When we see Miami/Chicago/Indiana playing each other, there will be some low scoring quarters.
