For my own reasons...going to count that horrible Illinois/Yankees parlay I had in the NCAA hoops record (since the baseball part of it won) so I can start with a clean slate and forget that horrible turnover with 15 seconds left by Illinois :cursin:
YTD 1-1 +0.5 UNITS
Very solid start for Seattle yesterday, especially the 2 blasts by Sexson. Looking forward to a decent baseball season till FOOTBALL COMES AROUND, lol does anybody else agree that once you are passed being a student in life you no longer care about summers, and the end of summer begins your real vacation, the pigskin season LOL
1.) Marlins -127 (Smoltz/Beckett LISTED) ---- 1.91 UNITS TO WIN 1.5 UNITS
Love Beckett to start this season strong and have a very solid season. The kid can throw some heat, and although he had a very mediocre season last year, he has a revamped line up this year with the addition of a very powerful slugger into help score ***meant Delgado, not Beltran LOL**** him more runs and I think the fact that he has only given the current Braves starters he has faced 2 home runs (by Chipper Jones both times, but 2 out of 15 lifetime against him other than the blasts) out 98 at bats shows he has been pretty solid against some of the more solid Braves hitters like Giles, Jones, Furcal and the other Jones...He is also pitching in his home field tommorow, which is primarily a pitchers park...
2.) 0.4 UNIT PARLAY TO WIN 1.37 UNITS
1. TAMPA BAY -130 (Kazmir/Chacin LISTED)
2. Red Sox +150 (Clement/Pavano LISTED)
