I did said this war was done in 21 days. I still believe it. 4 days to go. Yes there will be some terroest attacks and some drive by shootings. But for all that is real war its over now. Bush will not declare that yet. But in 4 days I think he will.

I hope you are right djv. I have to be honest here I did not expect to see this much resistence but overall i have to say it is going well but the hardest part is still ahead of them.
Tomorrow they will start calling it the 21 day war. It's over by then. Yes still mopping up to do. But it's over. Yes we must stay to help 6 months to a year. But it's over. Yes we will have some terror attacks and sniping going on. But this baby is done. It's to neat of a name not to use it. The 21 day war. Now if they could just find the ass hole Saddam.
off the subject BUT djv or anyone know how long it takes for the troops to get mail-packages??? I'm guessing since the mail all goes to APO's and I sent other stuff to a FPO that it could be awhile weeks perhaps??????
Two weeks would not surprise me. It will depend on there location and assignment. Some may not see mail for over 2 weeks.
Historically what will we call this war?
