i thought this number was quite high - something is fishy. i thought under but look too obvious. these 2 pitchers faced eachother last week - schmidt won 4-0 - something tells me schmidt wont be as dominating. halsey has ERA over 7 last 3 starts. i like the over too
In Schmidt's last start @ Arizona, he gave up 8 H's, 6 R's, 4 ER's in 6 2/3.
Gonzales and Glaus were responsible for most of this damage and they won't be in today's game. Just something to consider if you really like the over.
I don't know if Schmidt is going to dominate like he has in his last two either. But with the D'backs missing two big bats it's a bit risky to expect them to put up their share of the ten runs to make it go OVER.

Thanks SI, have factored in Gonzales and Glaus. Det and Bonderman were -160 and ARI won 13 -7 without the pair. Schmidt is better at home and hit hard on the road a few back by the mets. The more I look at this game the more I like ARI to win a game in the teens.

D'backs are 4-3 when Halsey starts at home & SF is 2-2 when Schmidt starts on the road,1 of the 2 wins was a 9-8 win @ ARI. Love the fact that SF has the bad road record and the 4 game losing streak. Love the fact that the D Backs ,with the lineup they go with tonight hit Bonderman the way they did. My only concern is that Halsey may pitch to well ,Schmidt has been had on the road,Green has good #'s -vs- Schmidt and is hot the month of june.
