Sponge, doesn't it ever make you cringe when you think of your time and energy wasted to dignify their behavior with a comment? I mean what's the point?

Anyone with an ounce of common sense realizes they've created a fail-safe system for themselves. It's doublespeak. It's Big Brother. They make laws for others they don't have to live by. Even The KOD said "they make their own rules about work time, pay, and healthcare, and pensions."

Now, our country has a choice of two worthless candidates and people sit and debate the lesser of two evils like it's actually gonna' make a difference. What?

I mean if this isn't senseless, what is?

Alright, I'll cut you some slack and call it "entertainment"

I'm not very bright, but my experience in this world has made me aware of it's corruption (at every level), social injustice, oppression and poverty. I mean, seriously, how much more do you need to see or hear?

Lastly, since every mortal on earth is going to face death, I'll think I'll try to follow the biblical scripture when it says, ""And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Buddy if there was a god all he would have to do is come down for 25 seconds and tell everyone he exist. Since he or she doesn't feel a need to do this i will continue pointing out hypocrisy to the lazy thinkers because without God's help thieves will run rampant and it would be a whole lot worse if it wasn't for guys like me. There would be no middle class if it wasn't for people speaking up. Your way just sitting there and doing nothing would make things 100 times worse. :0008 My way slows down thieves. I wish i could stop them but there are way to many of them. The real problem is that the thieves somehow brainwashed the nitwits into thinking they are on their side

Buddy if there was a god all he would have to do is come down for 25 seconds and tell everyone he exist.

A few years ago, our church was ministering in Pittsburgh's Market Square. We had a permit from the city to use the stage, set up audio epuipment and preach the gospel. Most people in the Square politely listened, some were annoyed (Not everyone liked what Jesus said either. Especially the Pharisees.) Anyway, one man walked up, pulled all the audio cords out of the console, then turned on the pastor, grabbed him with both hands by the lapels of his suit, shook him and shouted, "Show me! Just one time! Show me a miracle and I'll believe! The pastor backed up, brushed off the front of his suit coat and said, "Okay, allow me to do this. How about if I part the Allegheny River, then will you believe?" The man said, "Yeah, that'll do it". Pastor replied, "It's not going to happen because we walk by faith. Now do you understand?"

Since he or she doesn't feel a need to do this

First off, God is masculine. In the gospel of Matthew, the apostles asked Jesus how they should pray and he taught them the "Our Father".

Secondly, God knew of the present and future condition of this world and felt the need to do something about it milleniums before you and I and our little peanut brains came along and became members of an internet sports forum. That's why in John 3:16-17 it reads, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Your way just sitting there and doing nothing would make things 100 times worse.
Eh...you took a little shot, but I forgive you. I like you Sponge, but Jesus loves you more. He created you.

Harry Reid ? The Bill Stops Here <SMALL>
<IFRAME style="WIDTH: 450px; OVERFLOW: hidden" src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.offthegridnews.com%2F2012%2F01%2F06%2Fharry-reid-%25e2%2580%2593-the-bill-stops-here%2F&layout=standard&show_faces=false&width=450&action=like&font=arial&colorscheme=light" frameBorder=0 scrolling=no allow="" Transparency="true"></IFRAME>

Harry_Reid-239x300.jpg
A shell game, led by Harry Reid, has been going on for quite some time in the U.S. Senate. The game goes something like this: Overload incoming bills from the house with amendments, and then stop the bill from coming to a vote because of supposed problems with the bill.
The recent jobs bill is a prime example. Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell asked for unanimous consent to proceed on voting on the bill. Reid, who has struggled to find enough votes for the bill in the Democratic caucus, objected to the motion and killed the opportunity for a vote.
To make matter more interesting, President Obama was in Dallas the same day urging Americans who support the American Jobs Act to demand that Congress pass it already. After that, the Obama campaign sent out an email calling on supporters to push Congress to at least vote on the president?s jobs bill. The following email was sent by Jim Messina, Obama?s 2012 campaign manager was emailed to supporters just minutes after fellow Democrat Reid killed opportunity for the bill to be voted on:
Though it?s been nearly a month since he laid out this plan, House Republicans haven?t acted to pass it. And House Majority Leader Eric Cantor is out there actually bragging that they won?t even put the jobs package up for a vote ? ever.
It?s not clear which part of the bill they now object to: building roads, hiring teachers, getting veterans back to work. They?re willing to block the American Jobs Act ? and they think you won?t do anything about it.
It is doubtful the Obama campaign asked supporters to call out Harry Reid and ?demand? he and Senate Democrats pass the bill. Because the media plays right into their hands, why should they? For Harry Reid and President Obama it?s the best of both worlds. This way they can appear to be champions of the people by appearing to combat the ?do nothing? Republican Congress knowing all the time Reid has no intention of allowing meaningful votes on anything Congress sends his way.
Lest anyone think this is an isolated case of Senator Reid blocking votes coming to the floor in the senate, consider the following list. There are eighteen jobs creation bills passed by the House still sitting on Harry Reid?s desk.

H.R. 872, the Reducing Regulatory Burdens Act? Introduced by Rep. Bob Gibbs (OH) on March 2, 2011

Believers say that God hears all prayers, and answers all prayers.

So, when they don't get what they pray for, that means God's answer was NO.

Sometimes God answers YES, and sometimes NO.

I'll believe that the first time God answers YES to an amputee.

"The way to see by Faith is to shut the eye of Reason."

[Benjamin Franklin, Poor Richard, 1758]

Faith may be defined briefly as an illogical belief in the occurrence of the improbable.... A man full of faith is simply one who has lost (or never had) the capacity for clear and realistic thought. He is not a mere ass: he is actually ill.
-- H L Mencken,

I have recently been examining all the known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition one redeeming feature. They are all alike, founded upon fables and mythologies.

Spongy, and I will close with these two statements ~

Hebrews 11:6 ~ "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

God hides himself in a thick darkness from the wise and prudent of this world.

I believe life is eternal. In the bible, Jesus spoke of two eternities, one in heaven the other in hell. I also believe God inhabits eternity. Because He is the creator, he exists outside of the time-space continuum. He is not restricted by physical laws as we are. He created them, but he exists outside of them. I also believe we were created for His pleasure. I also believe God grieves when someone, through no fault of their own, loses a limb. Since I believe life is eternal, I believe an amputee will have his prayer answered in God's time. Evidently, it will not happen in this lifetime. "Why not?" one might ask. First, because this lifetime is not "Forever" and secondly, I believe God's ways are above our ways, His thoughts are above our thoughts and even though there are some things we are allowed to understand, there are even more things we are not allowed or entitled to understand. He does not owe me an explanation.

I see you're a true believer, Buddy. If that's what it takes to get you through life, it's okay by me. You can believe in the occult and supernatural, and pray to the giant pink bunny if it floats your boat.

Just don't try to use the law to force your superstitions on others.

Lets talke about wasted Tax Payer money shall we...

Raser Technologies- $33 mil
Obama administration gave Raser a $33 million taxpayer-funded grant.
BANKRUPT

ECOtality-$126Mill
The Obama administration gave ECOtality in $126 million of taxpayer money in 2009
BANKRUPT

Nevada Geothermal Power (NGP)-$98.5 mil
The Obama administration gave NGP a $98.5 million taxpayer loan guarantee in 2010
BANKRUPT

Abound Solar, Inc -$400 mill
The Obama administration gave Abound Solar a $400 million loan guarantee.
BANKRUPT

Beacon Power. $43 Mill
The Obama administration gave Beacon ? a green-energy storage company ? a $43 million loan guarantee
BANKRUPT

This is just the tip of the iceberg. I cant copy and paste these fast enough

A company called SunPower got a $1.2 billion loan guarantee from the Obamaadministration.
BANKRUPT

Brightsource got a $1.6 billion loan guarantee and posted a string of net losses totaling $177 million.

Solyndra ? received $535 million in taxpayer-funded loan guarantees
BANKRUPT

Romney has hits hits and misses but at least he uses private funds and not our tax dollars. Not to mention he made these investments with OUR money to line the pockets of his own constituents.

QUOTE
Hoover Institution scholar Peter Schweizer reported in his book, ?Throw Them All Out,? fully 71 percent of the Obama Energy Department?s grants and loans went to ?individuals who were bundlers, members of Obama?s National Finance Committee, or large donors to the Democratic Party.? Collectively, these Obama cronies raised $457,834 for his campaign, and they were in turn approved for grants or loans of nearly $11.35 billion. Obama said this week it?s not the president?s job ?to make a lot of money for investors.? Well, he sure seems to have made a lot of (taxpayer) money for investors in his political machine.

?The Energy Department?s inspector general has launched more than 100 criminal investigations? related to the department?s green-energy programs.

OK Skulnik . Another dumb ass that dont even check the facts.

Just trying to make a point.

But another one that will allow Willard to not show where he made his billion.

Sources say that U.S. taxpayers stand to lose between $40 million and $60 million on the loan that was granted to Abound Solar, although some of those losses may be recouped after the sale of the company?s assets.

not 400 million loser.

that is the only one I looked at .

And I am sure that the Senate has alot to do with who gets these grants and not Obama.

1] On September 1, 2011, the company ceased all business activity, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and laid off all employees.[2] The company is also being sued by employees who were abruptly laid off.[3]
