I talked to this guy today and he said the 9ers were the play.

I listened to the radio and the guy on there said 9ers LARGE.

I read the paper and they said 9ers HUGE.

I read the newsgroups and there were about 5000 people saying the 9ers were going to DESTROY the Giants.

I asked my Mom and she said the 9ers are INVINCIBLE and there isn't a snowball's chance in hell that the Giants can stay within 50 points of them.

I marked one dog bowl "49ers", and one "Giants", filled them both up with food, and my dog wolfed down the "49ers" one, and raised his back leg in defiance over the "Giants" one.

I checked Olympic Sports and they are refusing to budge this line off of -3?. I guess they just want to go out of business tonight. :)

Ya, I saw, 10 mins after I posted this. Figures. LOL

Oh well, locked in for +4? +100 @ MPC. Doesn't make sense football-wise, but sometimes it's like that.

GO Giants!!

Hey Hitman,

Ya, I remember your name, you were right on my tail all year long. Was like, Damn, I can't shake this guy. LOL And ya, that was fun last year. I actually won 2 big contests last year....won $10 Grand on one board.... then $5 Grand two weeks later on another board. I hedged half of that second one to lock in profit....but I will take $12,500 in winnings over a 2 week period any old time! :)

I've found 4-5 big contests thus far, could shoot you an email if you haven't found 'em already. Most require a post up now, but that's ok with me. Was gonna be gamblin' anyways. :D

I don't expect to have the same amazing luck this year, but hey, ya never know unless you try.

Good luck this year!
Greg

Actually, that was the weird thing....I had my worst year in 5 as far as my straight picks go. I still made money, but it was only marginal. But on these two contests I just seemed to always plug in the right games and everything fell into place. Very unusual and lucky I think.

And yes, I think Madjacks is my new home now. I wasn't really a regular here before, just sort of popped in from time to time. But I am SUPER impressed with this place and feel very comfortable here. Everything from the contributors to the people who run the board, to the incredible wealth of info 4bubba provides. I'm stayin. :)

Glad to have you, GM. Yes, i see a few contests, most with post ups. I dont know if I will enter any.......I am going to be a bit busy and, shoot, I have 4-5 online shops now, I am not sure if I want the clutter of 4-5 more. I had a year like you last year, my capping was not spectacular. But, I got myself in position to hedge the final week in the contest that you won, so i pocketed big there. Like you, my thoughts were that I was just putting the right teams down each week and somehow, they were cooperating. What were we, 33 or 34 wins out of 48 games? Can't do that all the time !! I also won a nice sized fantasy league and had a good finish in another contest........ Glad you did the same..........GL& Hit A Biiiiiig One For Me......THE HITMAN
**actually, now that I think about it, I think the leaders were all over 35 of 48.and it was tough, as you never saw a 1 or 5 or 8 spread. It was always 2 1/2 changed to a 3, or 6 1/2 to a 7..........and the final game, St. Louis covers -10 1/2. For You !!

Ya, I've got 5 accounts now, and I'm going out to Western Union to open up accounts #6 and 7 after this post. LOL Lots of extra accounts due to the contests I want to enter, and favorable numbers I wanted to hit on certain season win total futures. This is nuts....I usually only enter 6-8 plays a week, so there may be a week or two go by where some accounts don't get any plays on them at all.

Initially this season I was going to go with just 3-4 accounts. But now I've got lots of smaller ones instead a of a few biggies. I guess in the end this is better anyways since I have a lot wider selection of lines. And if somebody DOES go under, my losses are cut by having everything spread out so much. And to top it off I have two local guys I can deal with who usually have VERY weak lines.
