I do love the pic of your dad, leaning over a lit fuse, looking frantic, with cold beer in koozie by his feet. :0002

HEY! There are more comments about the big house than there are about my little princess!

Hahaha thats ok i understand the intrigue It is a sweet crib..

To clear things up. NO that is not my house. My house could fit in this houses living room. This house belongs to my mom and step dad Steve.

Old School mentioned the American dream which reminds me of my step dad. No college degree. Just a hard worker who brought himself up with a little elbow grease. Here is what I know...

He grew up in Michigan. He was raised catholic. He has 6 or 7 brothers and sisters and they were very poor. His parents were strict. He told me his mom would bloody your lip if you spoke out of turn at the dinner table. He is not that close to his parents... I may have met them once at their wedding 12 yrs ago but I dont remember.

Religion did not rub off on him. He says its because the most religious people he knew were the nuns who would beat the shit out of him at catholic school.

After high school he caught on at logging company. He worked his way up and eventually made partner. Years later when that company eventually sold he made a decent amount of cash.
He decided to invest most of that money. He bought into a chain of grocery stores with his best friend in Oklahoma city.

Shortly after moving to OKC he met my mom and they have been married ever since.

Overt the years I get whispers of huge gains on some investments and stocks. I have no idea what they are really worth. I know the house was about 1.5 mill before they put in the pool and cabana house.

Even with their wealth my parents are good people. Nothing has gone to their heads. Family is most important and always comes first. Anyway sorry to babble. Just think it?s a good story about how with hard work anybody can make it in this country.
And nobody said a damn thing about my busted toe! Its fine! Thanks for asking!

You give us a cute child, Million plus house, and enough fireworks to drop a small building and you think we can focus on your f-n toe.C-mon man you give us way to much credit. Maybe if it was at least the big toe, ahh never mind, wouldnt have mattered:sadwave:
