Hi everyone,

Looking to keep things rolling here and have 5 dogs I have locked into for Saturday. Been doing well this season in CFB, NFL, and off to a good start in CBB and NBA as well - continuing to build up the bankroll so able to increase wager amounts as I like to do that especially when running well...this is the time of year though I absolutely love dogs in college football...bowl season is nearing, several of today's games are similar to bowl games...i lean to dogs in bowl games because year in and out if you stick to playing dogs you can make money...things tighten up when you have 2 solid teams playing against each other and often the underdog is trying harder to win than the favored team...sometimes the favored team is disappointed to be in that particular bowl game and just doesn't show up to give 100%...

So anyways back to today - here are 5 dogs I like today...one lesson i live by is to never be too greedy - i'd be very happy with a 3W-2L day here - that would be 60% winners and would love to finish w/ that - of course 5-0 would be very nice and i believe there is a shot but i'm realistic - anyways good luck if you play them - i'm playing them each for 2 times my normal wager amount...been having some really nice weeks and very profitable year - so putting 10 total units into play on these 5 games...

One last note - this is very important - especially this time of year - it's extremely important to have a few different outlets where you can bet - one place/guy might have one number, another might have one more favorable...I always shop to get the best number...this can be huge as I know alot of people who lost Rutgers the other night because they had them +2.5...I had them +3 and couldn't believe they blew that lead but I ended up w/ the push instead of the loss...80% of my outlets had +2.5 but one had them +3...especially around the key numbers of 3, 7, 10, 14 - that extra half point is key...so pay attention to the lines...there is a big difference between 6.5 and 7 or 2.5 and 3...one of the major things I do is try to understand the line and why it is set the way it is...I also am looking for any edge and often getting a line at say a +7.5 vs. a 7 will justify a value play on the dog -

One game tonight I think the extra .5 half point really adds value to the play is on Pittsburgh - I locked them in at +28.5...this line came out w/ Pitt +26.5 and obviously the public and majority are in love with West Virginia...i mean after last weeks blowout and such why wouldn't you right? I think Pitt comes to play as they usually do in this matchup...they are the biggest dog on the board and they don't want to be embarrassed...will they win - probably not - but expect a 60 minute effort and West Virginia can say this is just another game but they just really need to win - they don't need to impress w/ a 30+ point blowout. Anyways big differnence between Pitt +26.5 and Pitt +28.5 in my opinion...they can be down 35 late and come in for a backdoor TD to lose by 28 - that's how big the hook is in my opinion. Take these things into consideration. Same with Tennessee in my opinion - I locked in at +7.5 - i know some still have at 7, some even 6.5 - line came out at +6 - big difference getting it at +7.5 than at +6 when it came out...same goes for Arizona - I got this at +7.5 - but seeing alot of 7's out there - but search and you should find a 7.5...it's all those extra .5, 1, 1.5, or more points that make a difference at the end of the year...so look for the best line possible - get multiple outs - not hard to find if you look for them...there are a number of reasons different sources have different numbers - some regions will get hit harder on some games - so you might find better numbers on some - one of my outs is getting large % on Oklahoma - so he's put out a -3.5 on them - I liked Missouri in this anyways so the +3.5 vs. the 3 that alot of other outs have is another bonus...takes time to shop & compare, but at the end of the day it adds money in my pocket

Alright, hope you all do well today...

THE DOG PLAYS FOR SATURDAY:

Tennessee +7.5
UCLA +20
Pittsburgh +28.5
Arizona +7.5
Missouri +3.5

All plays risking $2,200 to win $2,000...good luck 2 all as always

ldabdou - not playing the Hawaii/Wash game...Wash giving up a lot of points this year though - Hawaii obviously has the excellent home field advanatage, and obviously seems to score at will - however their defense seems to have a hard time stopping people as well - not sure i'd be comfortable laying 14...Wash did beat Boise State this year...I looked at this game briefly, but really didn't see a side I thought was right to play...line seems to be close to right - I figured this would be around Hawaii -13 to -17 before it came out - it's -14...if i was forced to play it - i'd take Hawaii...and pray that their defense can get enough stops to cover the 14...

2W-0L so far +$4,000 - won by the hook on the Tennessee game - see what I mean - I posted earlier the value of shopping the lines and getting those extra half points - came into play and difference of $2,000 for me in that Tennessee game...was my goal to hit at least 3 of 5 - have Pitt +28.5, Missouri +3.5 and Arizona +7.5 pending as Pitt +4600 moneyline - score 0-0 right now - come on Pitt - make me a $23K winner on that play! Anyways - hoping the other 3 dogs can pull through...just need one more to guarantee a winning day - like the chances - gl

4W-1L w/ the 5 dog plays and 1W-0L w/ the moneylines for +$28,800...best one day I've ever had so alot to be thankful for...

I was wrong about Mizzou - really thought they'd step it up in this one to avenge the earlier season loss and play for a national championship...I guess I ignored the lower rank favored over higher rank - amazing how well that angle works in long run...

Still my goal was 3-2 and got that and then some...

One last thing I wanted to mention - take a look at the day - notice anything else - something to remember as bowl season approaches - well besides this Hawaii game that is not yet settled, there were 15 games played today and if you look at the totals were 12 WINS AND 3 LOSSES for UNDERS! I LOVE DOGS & UNDERS IN BOWL SEASON! Focus on those, and you'll have a nice bowl strategy. I know I sometimes preach what works for me - and I always get a fair share who disagree (like my NFL approach) - but bottom line is I win consistently and want to share what works for me...that's what this forum is all about after all - trying to "beat the man"...totals and spreads become inflated during bowl season & in big games...i think most focus too much on the numbers and what has happened during the regular season - just remember - lean to dogs & unders this time of year - and you'll be in good shape come January 1st...

Alright have a good night everyone...I'll post my NFL plays tomorrow...I usuallly don't lock into my NFL plays until sometime w/in the hour before kickoff - since I play dogs mostly, I like to wait and let the faves get bet up - I always shop the lines - today it made me an extra $2,000 on Tennessee because i shopped for the +7.5...as i said before - get multiple outlets...they aren't hard to find...

GL 2 U all as always...
