1)thompson(vs krasniqi in germany...thompson`s good..a tall lefty....but,how can he win without the power to stop kras in germany?)

2)hanshaw(vs rjj in semi-home turf in miss....how far has roy fallen...this is hanshaw`s heaviest weight ever)

3)matthysse(vs cintron...matthysse very raw with lousy defense...cintron looks to be to good)

4)gomez(vs gatti in friendly atlantic city..gomez not special, but bigger and more durable at this point in gatti`s career...maybe gatti sticks to boxing?)...

5)williams(vs margarito and probably a strong pro margarito mexican crowd....williams` straight punches, lefty stance and reach vs margarito`s wide hooks and uppercuts...his chin and toughness )

i`d say

1)gomez

2)thompson

3)williams(2 and 3 very close)

4)hanshaw

5)matthysse...

i have a little something on each dog with the exception of mattyse....riding box`s khan under...

i may be giving last night`s winnings back today...we`ll see...

rate `em....opinions welcome..

I agree with your list, Williams may have a better shot than Thompson since he's not fighting in Germany

Btw, check out the pictures of Marg-Williams standing toe to toe, Williams has a huge height and reach advantage here

I was considering hedging my Williams by decision +365 bet with Marg -110 but now I'm having second thoughts. If I do hedge it will be very small, just enough to cover the dec prop

gl my man, sorry for being such a hardass

i propped gomez inside the distance at +487(i was thinking about last weekend`s donaire stoppage of darchinyan....a guy who isn`t a huge puncher, but is the naturally bigger man....and was thinking about the last 2 brutal gatti beatings at the hands of floyd jr. and a not so huge punching baldomir)....

margarito inside the distance at +230(as a kind of hedge on my williams play)

gatti/gomez draw at +1400

and cintron inside the distance at -170....

I'm considering hedging my Gomez +185 play with Gatti by decision +115, just enough to cover the potential loss. I don't see Gatti stopping Gomez

Take a look at the Molitor-Nlwhatever Over 11.5, heavy juice but it could make a decent parlay leg

i see your point...i kinda got carried away with gomez.....more an anti-gatti feeling than confidence in gomez.....

i wish the gatti by decision prop was a little more generous.....obviously,the books see this as the most likely "gatti wins" scenario...

5 dimes only gives a gatti by "10 round" decision prop......and it worries me that there could be a butt.....with gatti getting a technical decision...`very shrewd....

still,in retrospect, i have more on gomez than i think is warranted....

i may have to take your advice...

and yeah...the molitor over looks like a parlay possibility...

i`m looking for a mate...

Any Thompson backers bothered by the fact that he come in 10 pounds heavier than his great effort against Guinn, and 8 more than his last fight. That tips it to Kras , IMO. Thompson may need that late rounds juice to ensure victory and it doesn't appear that he trained accordingly. I'll go light on the Kraut, fully considering where the fight is.

What the fukk is Hanshaw doing struggling to make 175? He wasn't exactly ripped at 168. I was pumped that FM Sr. was training him because I think Floyd Sr. is a great trainer and I averaged in around +230. Glen Johnson like punch volume is what would do Roy in. Now I'm gonna go back and ensure a SMALL profit with Jones at -205.. damn.

I like Gomez- I think the two beatings at the hands of Baldo and FM jr, took something away not to mention the previous pastings. Gatti wasw a champ at 130, 135... Gomez never fought below 144. The concern is Gatti could get a going away gift at home, but I 'll leave the +240 on Alfonso.

Oh my here comes the pre fight flip flopping. I flip flop so much that i think it might be best to just watch these fights tonight. I want Gomez to win and i think he can but i don't see him getting any help from the judges if it goes the distance.

yes...don`t like the extra weight....i wonder if thompson thinks he may have to stand in and hurt krasniqi here....that`s a pretty weak theory,i admit....but,it will be very tough to get a decision win in der hinterland.....didn`t brewster basically have to k.o. kras twice?.....lol(no offense,tony)....

if thompson comes into the ring with fishheads or mary-janes(anything but boxing shoes) on his feet this time...... ...i mean that`s scary.....that`s"dewd,which knob is the hot water?' stupidity....

also concerned about hanshaw`s weight...i saw that he had to come back to the scales....caught it at +225...at the time,it seemed(all things considered)worth a small shot with the younger guy......still think hanshaw should be a much tougher out than badi ajamu....

we`ll see....g.l.
