You're looking at two different systems my friend.

In my post is the 5 run chase. There was a game 4 against SFO.
Nats win & I win +122

The spreadsheet in your post is my 4-game chase. Tampa Bay was a play but only if -110 or higher. It didn't get past -109 so it was a no-play.
and of course they won.

I try and update whenever I make a change in the spreadsheet.

Got it, figured that but making sure. now is the rule the team that scored the 5 runs or was scored aginst you bet on or against. Also does this have to happen more than once for a play or just after the 5 run game occured.
Thanks

and if I am following the other system looks like NYM and LAA are the plays am I correct/;

I have been trying to follow the pattern but just dont get it yet, I played the wrong team yesterday, (Giants). I thought that was the team that you were replying on being the team to play.

Rules for the 5 run chase
This is a 4-game chase.

Wait for a team to win a game by 5 runs or more.
Skip that teams next 2 games.
Bet against that team for up to the next 4 games.
If the team wins by 5 runs or more during the next 4 games, skip another 2 games.
The chase ends with a win or four losses.
Progressive bet to win one unit.
New:
If the targeted team loses the next two games (the skip games) after winning by 5+ that team is eliminated from the chase.

harlytiger- Hope this helps and you are right on with my 4-game chase.

tward- Sorry you had SF yesterday. The chart showed SF winning there last three gms. Play the games highlighted in yellow. Let me know if you undestand or have a question.

:toast:

Cisco,
On 5-run chase:when the rule says to skip the next 2 games of the team that won by 5 or more, does that include an off day?Saw some 5+ teams that then played one game followed by an off day followed by two wins, and the next game is a go against 3rd chase.
Thanks

If there is an off day you wait til the next game--they have to PLAY 2 games before you start the chase...

good luck

Also, Pittsburgh won next to last game 7-1.Yesterday was was the first game of the 2 day skip, but you have St. Louis as the play today. Shouldn't that be a 2d day skip?
What am I missing?
Thanks again.

Dr.,
that is what the rule says, but when I look at the Mil line they won onSat. 12-6, L
Sun..,Off Mon.Then they won on Mon. and Tues and on a third game go against today.Shouldn't that be a second game go against as the 2-day skip would be Sun. and Tues. The Minn. line is almost identical.
