Not a chalk player at all, will rarely see a play beyond -170. Will sometimes dabble with chalk parlays, but would rather lay the 1.5.

Not trying to nit pick or cause trouble but if you are playing consistantly up to -170's then that is indeed very chalkish. If you average playing at a -150 level then your 60 percent would only break you even. Everyone has their style and I wish you luck this season, I just personally think it is esier to shot for 40-50% win percentage and play dogs and short favs. There are obviously many styles, heres to both of ours producing winners:mj06:

I don't have a system that I stick to, I trust my instict, pitching match-ups, bullpen scenarios, travel, motivating factors, etc. I'm just as likely to pick a +160 as I am a -170. I'll also play a lot of totals and first 5.5 lines that don't carry the big price tags. We'll see how it goes, I plan on beating 60%, it was more mocking the Vipers original thread..lol

Hit my rare exhibition play Monday night with the Dodgers 11-2. Won't be counting preseason towards my record. Might have one today for the Mets-Marlins game once pitching assignments are announced. Can't believe the Marlins are throwing Johnson when he faces the same team opening day. I imagine he only goes 3 innings.

Phils -170. They had their chances to win yesterday but were sabotaged by Contreras. I would lay 1.5 if this was regular season, think Phils jump ahed early and coast.
Mets -130..bullpen stacks up better today, Figgy can go deeper than Johnson who is just tuning up. Mets trail early and storm back late.

you challenge yourself to pick 60% playing 2 per day?
gonna be posting 2 "best bets"--if you will? or you limit yourself to two plays/day?
